Fourth visit and still the best diner I've ever been too. Classic old diner atmosphere, great price, and still only a five-minute wait for food. My only complaint is that Lloyd's gives too much food. After the meal I'm done for the day. Today three of us had to get the $13 special because it was such a great deal (3 large eggs, 5 pieces thick bacon, 3 huge sausage links, mountain of hash browns, choice of toast or English muffin). We took at least a pound or more...
I write the same thing for all Lloyd's review pages because my mind is never changed no matter how many times I go: Best diner I've ever been to. I travel about 40 minutes for the very fast service, huge portions, and very reasonable price - not to mention the atmosphere, which fits the outside look of the place.
I cannot recommend Lloyd's more for a special weekend breakfast. It's everything you want in a Old fashioned diner and more, why not, it's built out of an old train car with the tracks right behind it. The big breakfast and coffee is my go to meal. scrambled eggs, toast, Home-fries and your choice of meats. It comes out piled high and steaming hot. Service is quick, kind and helpful.
