Tasting's was amazing from beginning to end on making our day special. We attended their tasting event which was amazing, and they were very responsive via email with any questions we had. They gave us a selection of which plates and silverware to use, as well as were able to choose what color napkins we wanted. The food was amazing and we received tons of compliments for them, we chose the flank stank with chimichurri, herb roasted chicken with garlic herb au jus, and vegetarian paella. The coffee and tea station was also a great touch that guests appreciated. The bar service they offered was also very flexible and wonderful. We got great advice from Tastings about foods, how to run the event, and ways to manage costs. They also are willing to provide table settings and many other items that many caterers charge extra for. The service included providing two responsive bartenders while we bought our own liquor. They were flexible as we made changes and adjustments. We went to two tastings to sample their food. Overall, the food is excellent though like any caterer, you need to pick through their many offerings to find what meets your taste. Our guests were complimentary about the food and service. Not only are Sue, Eileen, & the whole team just the friendliest group of people, they were also super helpful, accommodating, and patient throughout the entire planning process and on the wedding day. Their group tastings are amazing - we LOVED the format because it meant we got to try multiple apps, entrees and drinks and we also got to talk to the team! Also provides a great opportunity to check out examples of table settings. 2. We saved a ton of money with tastings because they own their own plates and flatware (there are a few selections). We went with gold rimmed plates and the gold flatware and they looked stunning. We also were able to use ivory napkins that they owned (depends how big your wedding is and what they have on hand whether or not these need to be rented). 3. Their food is DELICIOUS. Multiple guests told us our wedding had the best food they had ever had at a wedding - the braised short ribs, seafood skewers and the veggie strudel are to die for. 4. They allowed us to customize the menu - I asked if we could do a mini lobster roll app and they said absolutely! I had a specific salad in mind for a starter for dinner - not a problem! Loved how accommodating they were 5. They have bartending services too and allowed us to pick signature cocktails and even a signature mocktail! Our venue had two bar set ups that were switched between throughout the night and they handled that with ease and even served a wine pour during dinner. Overall, service, food and price were all wonderful and I'd highly recommend Tastings to anyone who asks!

What made them stand out compared to other caterers was not only the quality of the food they cooked and served but all the extras they threw in. They worked with us on our budget, let us borrow centerpieces for the reception, made the best French almond cream cake from scratch AND served fresh chocolate chip cookies to our guests. They even went above and beyond and packaged all left overs for us to enjoy after our big day. Everyone raved about the beef short ribs and haddock. We were told by several guests that we had the best wedding food, which in my opinion is true! Tastings was also our bartender, which made keeping track of wedding vendors easier and costs down. Overall we are thrilled to have worked with Tastings and plan to use them again for other celebrations. They offer various group tastings events prior to your event so you can sample many of the food, drink, and desert items. On top of that, Tastings does a significant amount of the setup on the day of the wedding and they really helped capture the vision and turn it into beautiful reality. The food taste itself was excellent, the signature drinks even better than our own trials, and above all impeccable service on the day of our event. Their food was amazing, their prices were nearly half of all the other venue-approved caterers, and they had great customer service! A huge benefit to using Sue and Eileen is that they even make the wedding cakes (we had a lemon cake with lemon curd filling), and they are EXTREMELY good and included in the price.Day-of, we had no issues what-so-ever. They were intimately familiar with the venue and took care of absolutely everything. We were about 30 minutes behind on schedule (our fault, not any vendors) and they were still able to serve a very hot and very good dinner.The only small complaint I would raise is that the planning communications were a little...redundant. We were asked the same question multiple times and had to ask the same questions several times prior to them getting answered. Ultimately everything was perfect on our day, but we wished the planning went a little smoother.

You get to try 3 fish, beef, and chicken entrees as well as some vegetarian options, lots of salads, appetizers and desserts, cake flavors, and other snacks like their bacon maple popcorn. Our family had a great time and took home tons of leftovers.When our wedding rolled around inflation had hit both us and Tastings hard and Sue and Eileen were great with helping us understand pricing changes and working to get the best possible value without sacrificing our entree choices. On the wedding day Sue made sure my husband and I were taken care of with cocktails and appetizers as soon as the ceremony was over. We made sure to actually sit and eat on our wedding day and everything was delicious. Our guests debated what our best appetizer was passionately, and a few people told us the bacon wrapped scallops were the best they've ever had. If you're getting married in the fall I cannot recommend the butternut squash ravioli as a vegetarian entree, it was one of the best pastas I've ever tried.We really enjoyed working with Tastings.
