Food was delicious, I had a breakfast wrap which was fresh; they also added some seasonal fruit on the side which was a nice surprise! The counter staff I interacted with were friendly and kind. Unfortunately my order took 25 minutes to come out which felt quite long considering I had a simple breakfast wrap. (maybe they were backed up with making so many smoothies- I did notice many smoothie orders being called out at one point. I also saw many folks inside that were also receiving their food after waiting much time. Other food I saw come out looked good though! ). The inside is quite spacious, with plenty of seating options. It could use some renovations and a bit more attention to cleanliness; this also includes the bathroom.

I have not tried their food yet but ALL of their protein shakes are made gluten free. This is huge!!!! I got a mint chocolate chip one and it was delicious

Second time eating here and I’m blown away by the food. It’s hard to find good healthy food to eat on the go, but this place has delivered! Today I had the Cali Tuna and it was phenomenal. Does the building itself feel kinda old and unmaintained? Yes. But I will gladly look past it for delicious nourishing food.

I’ll be honest, the only reason I keep coming is because I like the food. But fair warning to those who care more than I do, you have about a 45% chance that they’ll get your order completely correct.
Of the three times I’ve gone this year, the first time, half of my order was completely forgotten about for about 20 minutes. The second time was perfect, and I have to say, the Cubano was quite tasty. And the third time, I specifically ordered fruit with my sandwich, and no whipped cream on my smoothie; both of these orders were not followed. So, in short, I think the staff needs to pay better attention to the customers’ orders. Good Cubano though!

I never write reviews but I’ve noticed that none there’s no real recent reviews of this place. I’ve been coming to Cafe Edesia before it was even called that, it’s been an amazing spot for years for me. However, I’ve noticed that in recent weeks-months it’s declining. Ever since the owner took over the Hen House, the quality of food and consistency, has decreased. Yesterday, (1/13/25) me and my partner both ordered sandwiches with Turkey on it, we both ended up getting food poisoning from it. The sandwiches both tasted like what cow manure smelled like. I couldn’t even finish mine because of it. I am pretty sure the Turkey on our sandwiches was spoiled. I’m saddened to say this but this isn’t the first time that they’ve done this. Sometimes my sandwiches will have dirty avocados or wilted vegetables. I don’t know what’s been going on recently but with the raised prices and our health being tested to eat here, we will not be returning for a while. I’ve even gone inside and have seen moldy baked goods on display. I advise everyone to be careful eating here, you might end up getting sick. I hope this place can become a bit more careful with their food products and quality.

If you're on the hunt for a heathier food menu with options, this place is a hidden gem. Though I can't speak to the ambiance, as it's not to my personal taste—it's definitely an acquired taste—I can say that this is my second visit, and both times I've experienced excellent customer service and fresh, and uniquely delicious food.

The sandwiches here are diverse and authentically flavorful, truly appealing to the palate. This isn't your average sandwich, wrap or panini; it's more akin to a quaint boutique sandwich and smoothie restaurant you'd find in a tourist beach destination. The quality in every bite sets this place apart. If you appreciate fresh and creative takes, this spot is worth a visit.

NOTE: **If you could give 1/2 points in the review, I absolutely would have given a 4.5!
