The dinner was amazing. But the breakfast, was absolutely horrible. I don't even know how to describe how bad.

We were a party of 8, though I will only be writing on behalf of two of us.
They opened at 4. We were arrived early, and waiting in the sitting area outside the Grille until the remainder of our party arrived. We were the first 8 people in the restaurant, with a group of 3 immediately behind us.
The greeting staff member was exceptionally friendly, having even offered to let us enter shortly before opening time.
Unfortunately, our service was painfully slow, especially considering the lack of other patrons. This includes everything from the original drink order, all the way up through the desert order.
On to the food!:
Jennie had a Peach Sangria & I had a Summer Fever (w/ Hendrick’s). Both were very good.
We opted for the Fried Calamari appetizer. We both found it to be fairly good, but definitely too oily. It came with an aioli. We wished we had asked for some marinara with it.
I opted for the Steak Tips with peppers/onions, sweet potato fries, and rice pilaf. The steak tips & veggies were cooked to perfection with phenomenal flavor! The rice pilaf was your typical rice pilaf… nothing special. The sweet potato fries were cooked to perfection, unfortunately I felt there was far too much salt on them… almost making them inedible.
Jennie chose the pan seared scallops, which came on a bed of risotto. This dish came with 5, rather small, scallops. They were quite flavorful. The risotto may as well have been a bed of salt. The risotto was absolutely inedible due to the salt. It looks good, but neither of us could bear to eat more than two bites of it.
Another member of our party had the onion rings. They looked great, portion was great, but they were heavy on the grease, and also were too heavily salted for anyone to eat.
For desert, I ordered the lava cake with ice cream and Jennie ordered the cheese cake with strawberries. We both found our desert to be quite good. I did find it odd that the lava cake was served with a fork rather than a spoon. Both I and another party member had to ask for spoons because the forks just couldn’t pick up the lava!

Having not been to the Colonial Grille in years I was looking rather forward to it. For what you get for your money, it’s really a toss-up if it’s worth it. I doubt we’ll be back.

Service was terrible. There was barely anyone in the restaurant and the waitress had forgotten our appetizer and took forever to bring us out food and beverages. Won’t be coming here again. Also I didn’t quite trust the waitress we had. Also woke up not feeling well a few times in the night after eating here. Would not recommend

Met our friends here for dinner after attending Huntstock in Westminster. We all were staying here overnight. The food was excellent. Mu friend and I both had the shrimp and scallops with pasta . My wife had the salmon and his wife had the lamb gyro. Again, all meals were excellent. We all got dessert and it too was outstanding. Our waitress, Melissa, was also excellent. One of the best we have ever had (I am 80). If you stay at this place or are nearby, do miss this fine restaurant

Colonial Grille is hands down one of the best restaurants in this area. The seafood is always so tasty. We have always had 10/10 meals here. The staff is welcoming and the drinks are great. Please, please, please advertise!! Your staff deserve to make the most that they can and your chefs deserve the notoriety!!

Unprofessional management, rude staff, miserable workers because they're treated awful. Dirty. Would never recommend. Hotel is extremely dirty, kitchen is even worse (ask me for pics). They treat their employees horribly. The 5 days I trained there I wasn't given a set or proper schedule, or an official job title as a salaried manager. I was "hired" as a Food and Beverage Director... which a typical salary for that position is 90-120K as a general medium across the State and Country. When I questioned their offer, they made up some stupid excuse, and I stupidly accepted. My offer letter was a written email from Nichole Moorsett. nothing in writing or paper, no expectations of schedule or hours were discussed. My request off prior to hire in my interview, for a prescheduled eye exam was blown off by the GM, and she considered it a no call no show. The managers I trained with were more concerned about talking smack about the owners, than actually training me, and doing their job. Everyone complained, and it was constant.... relentless.... drama, and it starts at the top with the GM Nichole Moorsett. Nichole Moorsett the General Manager Let Me Go via text message......That in and of itself says something regarding the professionalism of that establishment. I have never encountered that in a proper professional setting in over 20 years in this industry. I wasn't given my final pay until 4 days later.....Which is against the law. GM didn't even know the proper information for payroll, and dismissal laws. I had to correct her. I was given no reason for dismissal, Nichole refused a sit down for a meeting about it. I had to call the Attorney General's office to get things moving. Nichole Moorsett is more concerned with going tanning, than actually properly running a business. The UV rays are clearly interrupting her brain capacity to make proper professional decisions. She can not handle stress well at all, and this obviously isn't the right industry for her. I can honestly say this is the worst work experience I've ever had in my life. Run.....and RUN fast!!!!

Food was delicious. We didn't wait long for a table but we did wait for our food quite a bit despite the emptiness of the restaurant. The staff were amazing though. The decor is a bit odd. It's modern but cheap looking. I liked the pub feel better before they renovated.
