The Spot has great food. The kitchen staff works hard to provide a great product. Mostly everything made in house. Fresh ingredients. Dan is the Man on Sushi ?. Some of the best I have ever had. The Spot roll and Tuna King are my favorites. Chicken wings have always been my go to. Best corn chowder I have ever had! Cozy Tavern atmosphere and fun and friendly staff. ?
Best sushi I have tried in two years in Massachusetts...

Great food, Super nice staff. Just returned and ordered the marinated steak tips. They were absolutely fabulous. Cooked perfectly medium rare as I requested and so delicious. My wife was also extremely pleased with her fish sandwich. Great food and great service. Will definitely be coming back.

Fish and fries burnt. I couldn’t believe they would serve it when it was very visible the food was burnt. 2nd order was better. Coco loco was too tart. Churros were drenched in cinnamon and too sweet. Mandy was super nice and atmosphere pleasant.
Parking: Parking everywhere, nice area.

It feels like whoever’s running this restaurant lacks pride and passion for their end product. The food falls short in terms of presentation, flavor, and creativity. I’ve tried many different dishes here, as it’s the only place to eat in Georgetown, so I can assure you I’ve given it plenty of chances. While this bar is great for drinks, socializing, trivia, and live music, I recommend eating elsewhere before coming here. The haddock tastes frozen and never fresh, and the nachos were so dry and burnt we had to send them back. We also ordered sushi, but the wasabi lacked any spiciness and my fiance ordered spicy Tuna, and we were speechless when the tuna came out as puree tube paste swirling on the sushi. I think this place has potential. They should align more with Hale Street Tavern. The food there is fantastic.

First time here, the food was delicious! I highly recommend the caulifower, wings, and the sushi. They also have many things on their menu labeled as gluten free!
