Good food on the long, winding road through the pretty hills of western Massachusetts. This place is warm and the food is delicious. The last time my gentleman brought me out for breakfast here was on a dismal, wintry day. They had a cozy fire lit in the dining room stove which chased the chill off us and got us warmed and looking forward to our meal. First time here after (literally) many years of driving by. Should have stopped in a long time ago! Western omelet with grilled corn muffin and bottomless cup of coffee … very good and with friendly service the entire visit. Go !!
Nothing special but sometimes that's refreshing. My friend romanticized it and had us go there on St. Patrick's Day. We got the corned beef special. I think she's finally cured of this place now, nice as the people are. She felt there wasn't any flavor. I felt that we just got slivers of meat but I appreciated that they used Yukon Gold potatoes and it was fine. This is just a middle of the road basic food place that has an alcohol license.
