We were spending one night here and weren't quite sure what to expect. Walking in was like walking in to CHEERS, except nobody knew my name. The people were lively and friendly. It was a little strange having the waitress check us into our room but she was so much fun. Once checked in, we ordered food to eat in our room and the food was sooo good! We were in Room 9, which was spacious with two queen beds. Room was clean and comfortable - a little bit worn (rug needs stretching and the bath sink wasn't draining well). The AC did an excellent job on this hot day; and had an even low sound which completely blocked the sound of the clock chime. I was very surprised to hear how loud it was when I woke and took a walk the next morning. I think I would probably do ear plugs or white noise of some type if not summer and I...
The food was absolutely delicious, one of the best Reubens in a long time. Ambiance-wise.... Ehh- the *non-townie* vibe killed it for me. It was like an episode of Cheers but more corny- in a good way though, I guess.I'll still get food from there when I'm *that* hungry or craving it. Take out for now.
