I made the mistake of having expectations when coming here. It’s the equivalent of a bad diner attached to a gas station, but instead it’s attached to a golf course. Food quality was that of a cafeteria and not a restaurant. Service was robotic and it felt like maybe we weren’t welcome. If you’re golfing then it makes sense to eat here due to convenience, but to come instead of going to a real restaurant is silly.

It's a nice place for a casual meal. Staff was great, attentive, and made sure to take care of us before a giant group arrived from the golf course. The food looked better than it tasted.

Nice place with good food, service and parking. Located in the Highlands Golf & Country Club club house, so not your usual restaurant location.

I went to lunch here with eleven other ladies, and we sat in the Porch Room. The view of the course through the window is very pretty and the opposite wall has a long painted mural of a golf hole. Our server wasn't very friendly but she was attentive and allowed us to have separate checks which was appreciated.
I usually eat plant-based/vegan but make exceptions when I'm out and will eat vegetarian and sometimes a bit of fish. There were only three vegetarian options on the lunch menu - pasta primavera, a veggie burger, and a hummus pita pocket. It wasn't clear if any were vegan or just vegetarian. I've had bad experiences with pasta primavera elsewhere (bland veggies and overcooked pasta), I'm tired of veggie burgers, and I eat hummus at home all the time, so I decided to try the fish tacos special.
The food all looked really good, but I was disappointed in my fish tacos. At first glance they looked impressive - large chucks of fried fish that didn't fit down into the tortillas. Unfortunately that was pretty much all there was to the "tacos." Each one had a bit of lettuce, small pieces of tomato, and a jalapeno or two sitting sadly in the bottom of the shell. There needed to be much more to make these "tacos" and not just fried fish in a tortilla with no other flavor. They really needed pico de gallo, maybe guacamole, some cabbage slaw, etc.
The experience overall was positive so I'll definitely go back and try something else on the menu. I do wish they had more vegan options and that they were labeled as such.
Vegetarian options: Small section of three vegetarian options, plus others not labeled scattered throughout the menu - a couple of appetizers, grilled cheese, garden and Caesar salads. No vegan options labeled.

We had lunch on this restaurants outside covered patio. The views of the golf course added some nice ambience. Our food was well prepared, fresh and tasty. Service was very good and prices were average. Overall quite enjoyable!
