Nice place with good food, service and parking. Located in the Highlands Golf & Country Club club house, so not your usual restaurant location.

I went to lunch here with eleven other ladies, and we sat in the Porch Room. The view of the course through the window is very pretty and the opposite wall has a long painted mural of a golf hole. Our server wasn't very friendly but she was attentive and allowed us to have separate checks which was appreciated.

I usually eat plant-based/vegan but make exceptions when I'm out and will eat vegetarian and sometimes a bit of fish. There were only three vegetarian options on the lunch menu - pasta primavera, a veggie burger, and a hummus pita pocket. It wasn't clear if any were vegan or just vegetarian. I've had bad experiences with pasta primavera elsewhere (bland veggies and overcooked pasta), I'm tired of veggie burgers, and I eat hummus at home all the time, so I decided to try the fish tacos special.

The food all looked really good, but I was disappointed in my fish tacos. At first glance they looked impressive - large chucks of fried fish that didn't fit down into the tortillas. Unfortunately that was pretty much all there was to the "tacos." Each one had a bit of lettuce, small pieces of tomato, and a jalapeno or two sitting sadly in the bottom of the shell. There needed to be much more to make these "tacos" and not just fried fish in a tortilla with no other flavor. They really needed pico de gallo, maybe guacamole, some cabbage slaw, etc.

The experience overall was positive so I'll definitely go back and try something else on the menu. I do wish they had more vegan options and that they were labeled as such.

Vegetarian options: Small section of three vegetarian options, plus others not labeled scattered throughout the menu - a couple of appetizers, grilled cheese, garden and Caesar salads. No vegan options labeled.

We had lunch on this restaurants outside covered patio. The views of the golf course added some nice ambience. Our food was well prepared, fresh and tasty. Service was very good and prices were average. Overall quite enjoyable!

This is a beautiful place to gather for lunch. Enchanting pastural landscape. The food was very good. I would certainly go back. I had a delicious and generously sized Tennessee chicken salad. Wonderful.

Went for drinks/dinner. Sat at bar because no hostess in sight for 5 minutes to seat us. Bar was so loud with a few drunks so asked to sit in dining room and was told ok. Should have known when only a few tables were taken. We sat for 20 minutes and no wait staff ever came to take our order. Spoke with manager to complain and then a waitress followed us out telling us that we don’t get served unless we are seated by a hostess!! They clearly saw us there and with only a few tables taken chose not to wait on us. Rudest people and worst I’ve ever been treated at a restaurant ever!!! Went to Post Office Pub down street, always friendly and great food!!

Wow heed the June 2022 review!! Had similar issue, started at the bar we’re going to eat there but a bunch of loud drunks make us ask for a table I’m the dining room. Woman cashed us out at the bar and said go take a seat. We sat there for 20 minutes 2 waitresses ignored us as others came in. A total of 6 tables taken hardly anyone there WAS A SIGN!!! Seems if you aren’t a “regular they will NOT treat you well!!!!!

Showed up at the bar for drinks/dinner but was really loud with a few drunks, asked if we could eat in dining room. We’re cashed out at the bar and told we could move. Sat in the dining room for 20 minutes waiting for service , only 3 other tables eating at the time (a sign we should have noted earlier) with 2 servers clearly ignoring us. When we left due to no service we asked to speak to the manager to complain about how we were ignored. A waitress then chased us out of the building saying we don’t get service if we aren’t seated by someone!! Wow, nasty and worst service or completely lack of I have ever seen at a restaurant in many years!!!
