I went out of my way to go to Hastings Farm in Suffield to pick up my favorite Hastings Greek yogurt (the best!). Saw the Gran-Val Scoop Almond Joy ice cream for sale and I couldn’t resist. What an incredibly rich flavor with the right amount of almonds. Love it!

My family has been getting ice cream here for over 10 years and we all agree it is the best tasting we've ever had. It's off the beaten track but worth the trip, especially if you have little ones with you. The family dairy farm makes their rich and favorable hard ice cream themselves. The selection of flavors is probably less than a couple dozen and has some seasonal ones too. They can sell out of some flavors, so have backup choices. They also have cookies and ice cream sandwiches, etc. There are some tables inside and also picnic tables outside. The petting zoo and playground are small, but we'll appreciated by the littles. This is a small family run store which has been a part of the community for many years. Try the cherry vanilla ice cream.
