I don't know whose idea the bi bim bowl was but holy moly. Every part of the dish was a magical wonderland and mixing them was a new adventure each and every bite.
My friend had the salmon cakes and loved it

Very cute place, and we were greeted warmly. Our server came quickly, and we ordered beers, a burger, and a fried chicken panini. The waiter did inform me that the chicken was not truly a panini but on a very nice roll...okay for me.
It was not very busy yet we didn't receive our beers. The meal was brought, and we told our server we had not received our beers. He brought them. The burger and fries were good, per my husband. My chicken was very small, dry, and served with just a small bit of mixed greens. Luckily, there was some nice purple cabbage on my bun, so it helped reduce the dryness.
For the price, I expected a better sandwich. We will not go back...disappointing.

A Great local eatery in Greenfield, Massachusetts. I was in town for RPM FEST in a town over to perform. Hope & Olive hit it out the ballpark! Their Cajun Creole Butter Sauced wings was tasting and amazing! Then decided to order their signature burger it was tasty and cooked just like I requested. No complaints. Great staff & food arrived in a timely fashion as we had just arrived in town and needed to get to the RPM FEST venue at a certain time. This place! The best restaurant in the entire western MA region. We drive about 35 min to eat here and it’s 100% worth it each time. The service is top notch from everyone. We always sit at the bar and get stellar care (let me tell you how fabulous Katie is, as is everyone behind the bar whose name I’ve yet to learn). The food is five stars - never had a single thing that wasn’t amazing. The vibe is hip, the place is energetic, and it’s an absolute must visit (over, and over, and over again).
Dietary restrictions: Very easy to be vegetarian here - plenty of delicious items. Always accommodating!
I was in town for Soul Fest this past weekend and as part of the Hospitality team, one of our artists really wanted food from this restaurant. The restaurant not only allowed us to order take out, but was also very quick and the quality of the food was fantastic. While waiting, they let me sit in an area and checked on me throughout the wait. The atmosphere is lively but not obnoxious. It’s definitely a date scene but also could be a place to enjoy dinner or drinks with friends. 10/10 hope I find my way back in Greenfield! Thank you from Soul Fest 2024!

Hope and Olive always impresses with cuisine and service. Today’s Sunday brunch was a great example! Tuna poke loco with a very generous pile of tuna, seaweed salad, a big honkin piece of roasted broccoli, rice, and a sunny egg. At hope and olive it is never one thing on your plate. It’s a plate of diverse things that play well together! The waffle was grilled perfectly with maple butter and local fruit. There’s a great beer, wine, cocktail, and mocktail list. My partner says H&O has the best chocolate cake in the country. Try it! Service is energetic, friendly, prompt, and helpful. Annnd it is a great value! Reservations are best. Things are good in Greenfield!
I have been to Hope & Olive a few times with my grandmother and every time has been just fabulous! Each time we go there my grandmother asks about their dessert menu before we even look at the lunch menu. Unfortunately, the special dessert that she absolutely loves hasn't been on the menu for a while. The last time we went there together I excused myself from the table and went to the bar to ask to speak with the owner. Before I could even ask, Jim came right over to me and asked how he could help. I told him that my grandmother was turning 94 years old the following weekend and nothing would make her happier than to have this special dessert on her birthday. Before I could even finish, Jim gave me the contact info for their baker, Arnie. I contacted Arnie and he emailed me right away saying that he would love to make this dessert for my grandmother. Let me tell you, Jim and Arnie went above and beyond! The dessert was amazing! It brought tears to my grandmother's eyes. Thank you Jim & Arnie for making this happen. Thank you for your kindness. One more thing to add...the lobster b.l.t. is so yummy. I get it every time. If you haven't been to Hope & Olive yet, you should definitely go and support this awesome family-owned restaurant!
