This is one of the best restaurants in the area. I've never had a disappointing bite of food here. The menu stays the same for those who like to return to their favorites, but there are enough interesting specials to keep me coming back, and the beer is great. It's so good that I don't even know what the wine selection is like--never thought about it! The staff, especially Meg, are all stellar. I hope it never closes for as long as I live.

It's a little criminal for the latest review on here to be so old because it seems like The People's Pint has changed since then. They now have vegan options for a significant part of their menu, clearly noted on the menu under each item.
Now, when I got here, I was starving, so take that into account. But, I had the Sesame soy-glazed sweet potato burrito and despite it having a lot of rice as the filling, the flavors of everything were just so good. The roasted sweet potatoes with a side of smoked garlic vegan aioli was killer. If you like simple beer (and some really eclectic styles; I never ever see a gruit on the menu) done very well, you also will not be disappointed with that.
As others have mentioned, they are also very proud of only generating a small amount of garbage/waste for each night in business, due to composting and/or distributing food waste elsewhere around the local environment. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and it really seemed like a flourishing local pub. The clientele was also very happy to be there. I'm not from this area but it seems like a best-kept secret for the locals here.

I cannot speak highly enough of this place - food and beer are exceptional, atmosphere is cozy, service is friendly- couldn't ask for anything more! There are lots of vegan and vegetarian options for warm comfort food. Definitely stop by if you're in the area, try the tempeh tacos or sweet potato burrito!
