We were in on Wednesday night. There was karaoke which was fun and seemed like a tradition for some locals. The venue is solid, looks like a place where bands play often and I think its a good spot to see some music. I probably would have left 4 stars overall but because this place came across as very safe and welcoming to marginalized communities within our society I gave it 5. They only have PBR and some great local options beer wise. Anything from honest weight brewery is my recommendation.

A wonderful venue, friendly people, and I have seen amazing bands from Africa and Europe as well as really interesting local bands! Last week I heard a harpist who was just truly beautiful! So check it out!
By far the best venue in the northeast. Great/friendly staff who always book killer top notch artists. The vibe is chill and the audience is always engaged. I'd rather keep it hush hush because it is that special.

I love this place! It's one of the most comfortable bars that I've ever gone to to hear music and the sound system is incredible. They have a wide range of live events so there is something for everyone. I hope The Root Cellar sticks around for a long time. Greenfield really needed a place like this.
