Just got the medium scallop plate and couldn’t be happier. The scallops were as big as I’ve seen and cooked to perfection. As someone who eats scallops very regularly, these are some of the best I’ve had. Can’t wait to get back here.
The food was okay, service was okay. There was a burger special so when I placed my order I thought I was getting the burger & fries meal. The person taking my order didn't ask, nor did I clarify. When the order came out after taking a very long time, I went & ordered some fries. It took me well over 15 minutes to place the order & get my fries. So as my burger got cold, and the distant family we met up with ate without me outside, I watched staff bring out orders...
This place is awesome. If you want to feel like you are on vacation, get some seafood, ice cream, sit on benches, but not actually travel anywhere, go to Groton and eat at Johnson’s. The food is great! And the restaurant is fun.
