I’ve driven by this cafe many times always wanting to try it. My husband and I finally took the time to stop in, I am a big coffee person and the both of us love trying new food spots.
This was definitely a disappointing one for us.
I got an everything bagel with cream cheese thinking it would be a safe option. I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad bagel, this is definitely a first for that. Texture and taste were very off, it somehow lacked flavor completely. I’ve made bagels homemade before and I’m not sure how they could be messed up. It just tasted like mediocre bread. We also ordered a croissant, it seemed store bought. It definitely was not an authentic croissant. Very bready. Not flaky what so ever.
My husband got the pork scramble which had all the right ingredients to taste good but unfortunately had no flavor/seasoning.
Lastly, I got a hot latte. This was by far the most disappointing for me. It had a pretty presentation but it was extremely burnt and bitter tasting. The sweetener could not mask the bitter taste. I only took a few sips.
Unfortunately everything looked good, but the flavors were not there.
We will stick to going into Boston for good coffee and croissants.

If I were to open up my own coffee shop, Salt + Light is exactly what I would want it to be like. Awesome vibe, service, + nitro!

Hot garbage. Blackbird is far superior. Even Dunkin next door has a better breakfast. They owe past employees money, and refuse to pay. This kind of practice is so far beyond not o.k. karma will be around . Everything is frozen and going bad to keep food cost down.

Food was delivered to the table luke warm at best. Scone had roughly the same flavor as my napkin. They gave us the wrong sandwich. The coffee was good. Overpriced.

We drove all the way to find out that the hours mentioned are incorrect. They wouldn’t even pick the phone. Super disappointing.

Come here specifically for the matcha . Really wish it was easier to get a bigger size ( only has 12oz hot or iced option) of the matcha instead of paying for 2 drinks would love to see it offered in bigger sizes (16oz) like the ice coffees are .

Been going for a while, we get breakfast sandwiches, gluten free options for bread. Used to have more gluten free bakery such as muffins but haven't had those for awhile. Food is good, service is top notch. Helpful and friendly.

Fantastic food and beverages. I was sad that the Matcha and Peaflower latte I got did not come looking like the beautiful blue with green around it that others had (they said they mixed the two in. I recommend they don’t, as my main reason to buy this latte was the pretty appearance). It was okay taste-wise, not great. I would have gotten plain matcha if I had known it would look like plain matcha as that would have tasted better.

The Bundt cake was fabulous! Perfect texture, and even had a cream cheese filling too!

They have some gluten free options, and I love the mission and atmosphere!

They even have a kid-sized rocking chair!!! So cute.

And, for those who need, it is fully nut free!

Dietary restrictions: Totally but free establishment

Kid-friendliness: Kiddo rocking chair is adorable

Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs. Fully accessible.

Such a cute cafe with upgraded menu from my last visit. And it’s appears like a setting for a cute romance/novel waiting to happen at this cafe. Splendid, except that we wish all the waiters/service providers smiled a lil bit.
