I ordered a torta yesterday. Wow that was the worst Mexican torta. 🤢

Tequilas is our favorite spot for impromptu family dinners. The atmosphere is great and lovely, food is delicious and the staff is very warm and nice.

This place has the food and atmosphere we’ve missed from Mexican restaurants in Texas. They brought chips and salsas to us before we ordered anything which was super tasty, margs were perfect, I could go on. Thanks!

It was a great place to go for the first time. Friends of ours suggested it after a concert. The food was great, the atmosphere was wonderful and our server. He was just very good at taking care of our table. A+ service. We'll definitely want to come back.

Loved Tequila's in Groton ! The food was incredible, authentic flavors and fresh ingredients. The tacos were great and they were perfectly seasoned. The margaritas were just right, not too sweet, and really refreshing. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Highly recommend for amazing Mexican food and drinks!

Such a wonderful restaurant with the most lovely, pleasant staff. I could not recommend this place more highly. Food and drinks are consistently delicious and the atmosphere is fantastic.

Kid-friendliness: Definitely great for a date night but I also saw families with kids. Great mix of both

Wheelchair accessibility: A ramp on the side of the building which is rare at a lot of other places

WAY too expensive for what it offers. We left after only getting drinks and being priced out of having food. Still spent over 10 dollars a person. Not worth it. Do not recommend.

Our family has been eyeing this spot on our way to the Groton pool all summer. Today we were excited to try it out! Unfortunately, none of our family of four has anything good to say about our food. My daughter’s cheese “burrito” was a tortilla wrapped around a hunk of melted cheese. My salmon tasted canned (it wasn’t, but it was bland and kind of wet) disguised with pile of pineapple “salsa” that was actually just chopped pineapple and tomatoes. There were four different types of rice on each of our plates, all unseasoned. My husband’s shrimp was cover with fried chiles, inedible but very hot and greasy (yay). I had carrot medallions on my plate so undercooked that I could not cut them with a knife. ? n the end, no one ate their food and we are on our way home to make dinner. Disappointing does not cover it.
