Powder Hounds was closed this time, but we went last October and really enjoyed our meal. Most places were closed at the time, but they were open (except the bar area) and we were so glad! Fresh, home-style food and good portions. We're sorry we didn't get to go back in April.

Call me crazy but I love comfort food. When I saw their house special meatloaf, I had to order it. It was the best I’ve ever had. The mushroom gravy was delicious. If you love a good meatloaf, you have to try it.

My fiancé and I were staying nearby at Jiminy Peak and Powder Hounds was a quick walk from the resort. We came twice during our stay and dinner was delicious both times. The Bacon and Bleu Burger and Pork Schnitzel were both very good. I also loved the Bacon Chicken Ranch Flatbread. My favorite thing was the Green Bean Fries! Definitely one of the best appetizers I've ever had - very crispy and the cucumber wasabi dipping sauce is cool but spicy. We made reservations and only waited a short time each time we went. Service was outstanding and it appeared all necessary COVID precautions were being taken - the restaurant itself was very clean. I wish we lived closer because we would come all the time!

The staff was awesome and the food was amazing. My wife and I were a little worried because we didn't have a choice for dinner. We were staying at Jiminy Peak and this was the closest open restaurant so it was that or nothing. We were so happy that we went. Now we will go again when we go back for sure. Seriously the food was awesome and the staff couldn't be nicer. 5 stars all the way.

Salmon and dill horseradish sauce delicious. Green beans. All cooked perfectly. Very fresh. Meatloaf mash potato fresh as well. Not real big portion. Glass wine a bit steep.House:$11... We were hungry so this was convenient and hit the spot.

Menu was available through a QR code during these Covid times, but the writing was difficult to read when zoomed in. We asked for 1 paper menu to share. Powder Hounds is aware the reader is not working correctly. Table spacing was socially distant, sanitizer stations available. Full bar is available and they make a fine Tito's mule. I believe 6 beers were on tap. I ordered the meatloaf dinner, naked potatoes and fresh green beans complemented the meatloaf. My husband ordered the 'Redneck' sundae, which was very cleverly presented. The meal was in an elongated sundae bowel, pulled pork the middle pile, flanked by 2 scoops of mashed pairs. Bacon pieces (not artificial) were added as sprinkles! Fresh green beans accompanied the sundae. Both meals and drinks were competitively priced. Why 4 stars and not 5? A pet peeve of mine is seeing restaurant employees on a cigarette break, smoking just outside the restaurant. At powder Hounds, it was kitchen staff, dressed in white kitchen garb. I know employees have the right to smoke on their breaks, but for a non smoker it is a turn off.
