We had a really wonderful time at Alba on 53. Our server Irina was truly so lovely. The restaurant is huge and bustling with a cool atmosphere and high ceilings so noise has a place to travel. Cocktails were great with nice pour. And our meal was delicious. The Mac and cheese side was some of the best we have had- it is not the typical Mac and cheese style which we loved. Light and flavorful cheese sauce that was not heavy or thick. Ribeye was cooked and seasoned properly and was a nice cut with good taste. The short rib gnocchi were awesome and definitely a comfort food vibe. Even the asparagus was cooked perfectly. For dessert we had the chocolate cake and it is definitely a show stopper. Chocolatey and fudgey and a great way to end our meal here. Highly recommend.

Almost $200 bill, have had better service experiences at the 99. So upsetting huge waste of money and wish I spoke up. White wine got warm waiting 25 mins for our oysters , just for them to come out after our entree, table overflowing no room for anything, no silverware for steak and other food, once brought I still had to take roll ups off a nearby table as we had no napkins. Was excited for the steak with the aged meat display, but nothing spectacular. Maybe the steak would've been better had it not been sitting in front of us waiting to be done with our appetizer. Mashed potatoes tasted like the kind you pop in a microwave after a long day. Salad was needlessly split in half despite the rest of the meal being family style, and overly acidic otherwise flavorless. These are all things I could get over if not for the high price tag and inattentive overwhelmed service. (Dining room half empty by end of our meal). Server was remorseful and nice enough. Was offered free dessert which we declined but it was really outrageous that nothing was taken off bill given the horrendous experience. For folks who don't get to indulge often with our budget, this was a huge let down. Really thrown off this place is so positively reviewed. Management was visible from a distance but should honestly be a lot more present if they are marketing themselves as fine dining.

I love Alba, great drinks and really nice wait staff. The sushi is great as well as their aged steaks. I just wish they changed the menu more often. I've tried the pizza, the bolognese and their salads. They try to accommodate your wants.

Aside from the amazing food, drinks and service the management team at Alba go above and beyond. I left a very expensive bag at the restaurant and didn’t realize that was the last place I had it until 3 months later. Thinking there was no chance they would have held onto it that long I called with little to no hope. Sure enough they had it! Thank you Nino for keeping my bag safe☺️

I can't say enough about this place ! The atmosphere alone, the food was absolutely out of this world. This was our first time. From the moment you walk in the hostess's were so warm and welcoming. What really made the entire experience was our waitress Tanya was so nice her energy was absolutely amazing she was so attentive super knowledgeable she was JUST AMAZING 20/10 service ! We are counting down the days to go back !

Alba is super convenient, and they almost always have a table! It's hopping and fun and they have great appetizers! The specialty drinks aren't my favorite, but the chocolate cake sure is! The servers are almost always accommodating and we will be back!

Went for a drink. We were horrified to see the staff eating in front of us. Service was awful. We would have ordered food but waited 50 minutes for someone to ask us if we wanted something.This is the third time we’ve been there, no more!
