A ROACH WAS SERVED TO ME IN MY DRINK!!!!Do I need to say anything else?? Probably not, but I will….my boyfriend & I were meeting another couple there at 6:30 on a Friday night for dinner. We were seated at a table right away, and sat for 30 minutes before we approached the hostess stand to ask for our server and another 20 mins before we had drinks. The food overall was ok, although the steak tips were rubbery & 2 of the 4 meals were cold. Then, after being served a ROACH in my cocktail, the manager came over, apologized & said “it’s an ongoing problem-we’re trying to get rid of them”-she comp’d our drinks but not our entire meal, which, I don’t know what has to happen to have the whole meal comp’d!!! Disgusting, terrible service, and out of most of the beers that we went there for. DO NOT TAKE A CHANCE ON THIS PLACE UNTIL THE HEALTH DEPT VISITS!!!!!!? Still completely skeeved out!!!!!

**Ok, so I always feel so bad leaving a bad review but when the bad experience is consistent, I think it needs to be noted and hopefully addressed ***On a Tuesday, I went to Flanders Field around 5:30pm. I walked into the restaurant with my two daughters. There was no one at the host stand. We stood there for literally 6 minutes and we're never greeted or approached or remotely acknowledged by anyone that works there.Mind you, two or three patrons at the bar did talk to us while we were waiting just making casual conversation. The bartender came over to our side of the bar quite a few times but never even looked up or acknowledged us.Both of my daughters asked to go to Flanders Field for lunch, however; I told them I really didn't want to because every time we have gone the service has been very slow and we always feel forgotten about.I feel like this is becoming a pattern, which is why I needed to let others know to prepare to sit and wait (or not be addressed) if you go and try to eat here.Needless to say, we walked out before even being acknowledged** I know the time frame. because I sent a text message when I first walked in and checked how long it had been it before we walked out.

I had the meatloaf which was much better than I expected. Amazing beer selection with about 100 taps.

Love this place!! Huge beer selection. Farm to table food! Great prices! Excellent service.

Kid-friendliness: Good kids menu

Lack of trained staff. Never paid attention to us or asked how things were. Bartender/server never said his name. It took 10 minutes to put in a drink order and another ten to get them because he had to wait for a shaker! Drinks barely had an alcohol in them. He finally took our food order but never took the menus away. The bar back unloaded the glass washer and handled every glass by the rim! Food was ok but not great.asked for a cup of hot tea to wait out the storm and they don’t even have plain tea. two choices green lemongrass or chamomile ?.asked for the check and put the credit card down but he was too busy looking at his phone to attend to us. We waited a long time for everything start to finish. To top off the evening the restrooms were out of order and we were told we’d need to go next door to use their facilities. One and done I won’t go there again!

I went on a somewhat slow evening, the bar is fantastic with well over fifty options for beers. The bartender was professional and well aware of what they served and made good recommendations. I would recommend it strongly for

Really nice selection of beers! Took forever to finally make a selection! Food was great too. I appreciated the smaller offerings as well!

The people here are either understaffed, undertrained or both. I made a very simple order 1 app 1 entree. They both came out at the same time. Then the lady lies to me and says she put them in separately, which would be believable except for the fact I was sitting infront of the computer at the bar and watched her put them in together. It doesn't take a lot to be honest with your mistakes.

Place has great potential but terrible service and poor management have firmly taken root. Food is decent (that is, when you actually get it) but they have not changed their menu since they opened a few years back. They should take a field trip to Alba to see what good service and attentive management looks like.

Our server was great. Food was great. The only thing that was really bad is the menu, they are covered in about two years worth of food and spilt drinks. Seems like the owners/managers should maybe spend an extra couple hundred dollars on new ones. Kind of off setting when the first thing you are greeted with is someone’s dinner from a week ago.

Pleasantly surprised by how big the bar is. Beer selection is broad (lots on tap). Great place to watch a game. Food is solid. Buffalo chicken dip and Bar pretzels are amazing but wings suspect (small). Burger was above average but not top 5 in area. Good roll. Limited gluten free options. Kids loved the fries. All in all a solid place to take kids after tee ball.

Excellent establishment. Dine outside with my husband & our dog. Our server was very pleasant & knowledgeable . Excellent selection of beer. I had the Reuben that was excellent

Been a couple times now and the food has been incredibly delicious and the beer list is top notch. Highly recommend the Bolognese!

Great beer selection and excellent food. The vibe inside is great.My fish sandwich was crunchy and delicious with nice pickles on the side and the side beet salad went along perfectly with it. I wish I had ordered the frites, but that will have to be next time!

Why are the TV's behind you when you are sitting at the bar? Also it takes forever to get a drink from a staff that thinks the place has already made it.. good luck. Cart before the horse. Good thing you get Albas leftovers. Just in case you need to know. Been there 5 times, always hoping they snapped out of the delusion.
