Lucky Finn Cafe

Just had coffee which was fine. Interesting concept with their work areas.

My go-to meeting place to catch up with friends, colleagues.in the area. A perfect combination of responsible coffee and tea options, Danish and food items. There is also branded artistic clothing, hats bags etc. for sale to commemorate the experience and the coastal community south of Boston. I 'bribed' my teenage son with an iced Hazelnut coffee and a handsome Lucky Finn branded rope cap. It worked. He brought the car for an oil change nearby. All three locations have different vibes. The Lucky Finn on Scituate Harbor is the OG of the group, a hit with locals, fishermen and townies on foot..no frills, just coffee. The restaurant on the Driftway is a hit with professionals, capitalizing on a few minutes before the commuter rail leaves for Boston or before heading off to work. Loyalists frequent throughout the day as well. The restaurant in the former 'Merchants Row mall' on the Hanover / Norwell line is for small business owners working remotely. It even offers paid office space by the hour.

I’ve tried to like this place. I’ve tried over 5 times now. How does a coffee shop sell sub par quality coffee? I’ve tried to like the cold brew but the varying consistency of some days being delicious and other days tasting burnt is not worth my money.

Seems like this place just depends on foot traffic and quality isn’t a focus.

*Changing to one star after reading how the owner responds to feedback on here. Clearly cannot handle negative feedback and always making an excuse/being on the defensive is not acceptable in the hospitality industry whatsoever (especially a written, public forum)

They close at 5 PM but if you don’t get your order in before 445 they just canceled it on you but if you actually walk in there like 430 you get the stink guy from everybody so basically they close at 4 PM if you don’t want to get an attitude

Nice staff homemade menu, healthy and reasonable price

this place is SO cute. Every drink can be made as a hot or iced latte, cold brew, or coffee. I was helped out by one of the sweetest baristas I’ve ever met and it made me happy to choose Lucky Finn as my coffee place to try today. I got the caravan latte and it was SO good. It tasted a lot like the latte I had gotten at Blank Street (the daydream) just a little more sweet! I didn’t try any food, but they had loads of options for food. Overall, I’d rate it an 8/10

They completely messed up our order , a large iced macchiato turned in to a small hot black , and messed up our BLT’s side note when you place an order ( drinks ) on the counter maybe place them together also so we’re not shuffling thru other people’s drinks like really ?

I stopped in for the first time to have lunch with a friend. Their menus are impressive, a great selection of sandwiches and salads and they serve breakfast items all day. They also have a good selection of coffee items and pastries, that looked very good. Sadly I didn't get a pastry but I did have an egg salad sandwich on delicious multi grain bread. Everything was fresh and high quality. I need to go back.

I've been here 4 times now, besides the usual chaos of the pickup process at the counter .evven though they're quick to remind you of the suggested 22% tip. Not one person has ever smiled or said thank you to me yet. There's a lot of options for a $25.00 breakfast

I can’t believe I overlooked this place for so long! Grateful to a friend who joined me for coffee here. They offer an excellent selection of coffees and other café treats. The inviting ambiance and fantastic service make it a must-visit.

Sean is an incredible employee at this Lucy Finn’s location! He was so friendly and professional and the sandwich that he recommended to me has truly been one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had (chipotle chicken club). This was my first time here and wow! Also the Berry Boost is amazing and so fresh and has actual strawberries.

A wonderful little spot in Hanover, Lucky Finn has an amazing selection of different foods and drinks with the option to order either at the counter or online for pickup in what looks like an app they developed themselves - and that also offers it's own rewards system

I had stopped in to wait for a dog grooming at the next door Pet Supply/grooming store, and managed to grab my drink and sandwich for a very reasonable price inside a very reasonable time

For better quality than my typical Starbucks order at a lower price, I'm highly impressed and thankful to have had a place to do some work while waiting through my errands

Parking: Parking for the space itself is a bit tight, but the shopping center does not lack for spaces

The food is fresh. But the scrambled eggs in the breakfast sandwich and the frittata in the power bowl had too much pepper. I’m giving one star because no prices are displayed. People working there have no idea what anything costs. They don’t give you a receipt even if you ask. The cashier said maybe she could send one to me by text or email. Of course this means giving out my phone number or email.

The people who work there were very nice. It is the owners who need a better business model. Isn’t it illegal to not be able to produce a receipt upon request?
