Coffee is AMAZING! I stopped into Prevites to garb something and decided to grab some espresso. The girl was over the top friendly and sweet. She ground it perfectly and it is delicious! My husband is real picky when to comes to coffee. He preferred it to the brand he buys in Hingham

Great spot for coffee, bakery goods, breakfast sandwiches and even lunch. This is also a kid friendly spot which is fun. It can definitely get crowded around 8-9am but the staff keeps things moving so there's never a long wait for your food and coffee.

Just had a bacon egg and cheese on the special Parmesan Herb biscuit that they make on the weekends… one of the best breakfast sandwiches I’ve ever had in my life!!!! Fresh eggs, crispy bacon all made to order… Fantastic!

Slacktide has the best coffee in the area, hands down. The food is also top notch.
However, service tends to run slow. Maybe it’s my bad luck but more often than not, the hot coffee needs to be rebrewed (which adds another 10 minutes in addition to whatever line you waited in) - I feel like there’s an easy fix for this.

We stopped by SlackTide Coffee Roasters in Hanover and had a nice experience. The cappuccinos we ordered were okay — nothing amazing, but still enjoyable. We also got a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich, and the staff recommended we try it on their house-made biscuit — great call! The biscuit was really good and definitely the highlight.
Our kids loved the pastries — both the plain and chocolate croissants were a hit, though the chocolate one could’ve used a bit more filling. The chocolate-frosted sprinkle donut was also tasty. Overall, a cozy spot with friendly service and solid food.

Ehhh this place is just mid. 2.5 stars would’ve been more accurate. They take quite a bit of time to make the coffee which is decent. (But better than dunkies so there’s that) with limited coffee choices around the area, this place is a better option. The coffee is all right, but you definitely get a bit of a burnt aftertaste instead of the smoky notes you would get with a nice rich roast. Got 7 donuts and they forgot to place 2 in the box. Donuts aren’t anything special in my opinion. They were bland and my coffee roll was a bit raw in the middle. Dunkies has better donuts. There is no display case for donuts either which makes viewing and ordering difficult. No display menu as well for anything. A paper menu is stationed at the register so you have to make your decision quickly right when you’re ready to place your order. Tipping culture sucks here where you’re obligated to leave a tip on the screen after paying or you feel like a schmuck if you don’t. Probably won’t be going back here.

Slacktide used to be my all time favorite shop and I’ve reccomneded so many people to go here but the past 3 lattes I’ve recieved tasted horrible. Burnt and full of coffee grinds :( for a pricey latte that’s super disappointing.

Though I'm not a daily regular, I've visited SlackTide at least 25 times since it opened. I'm also not a coffee drinker anymore, so look to other reviews for that.
But I love the food, particularly the sandwiches, paninis, and loaded toasts. I appreciate the generosity of two pieces of toast with ample toppings. Many other places are less generous (I don't get the toasts at Lucky Finn for this reason, though I like their drinks and love the work spaces).
Additionally, the seasonal drinks have been great over these last couple of years. I appreciate the variety and options.
The atmosphere is great - I've had many one-on-one meetings with people at SlackTide. And it's a bonus that there's space elsewhere in the building as well. In fact, sometimes when my wife and I want different things, she'll get something from SlackTide and I from Previte's deli or vice versa. It's a great set-up they have going there.
Long story short: HIGHLY RECOMMEND SlackTide.
