Great atmosphere, fantastic service from a friendly waitstaff, a well stocked bar serving tasty drinks, and absolutely delicious food that was plated beautifully. It's pricey, but the quality is worth it. 10/10 would recommend, and I can't wait to come back!

Very few places truly do it right and Square Cafe in Hanover is one of them. I spent most of my life in the restaurant business, which in turn means I am typically disappointed when I go out to eat. From the moment we walked into Square Cafe we knew we came to the right place. The hostess was so good with our two kids. Once we sat we were immediately greeted and offered water. Why can't more places do this? The service from our waitress was prompt, professional, and everything you could ask for. Then the food comes and seals the deal! You can tell when you are working with a chef and kitchen staff that are putting together dishes with thought and care. Everything was cooked to perfection. The flavors were paired perfectly. When it was time to go, we were immediately brought our check without delay. Other restaurants should take note... this is how you do it! Great job Square Cafe đ

Recommended by friends and stopped in for dinner. My 3 star rating is the combination of 4 stars for the ambiance, atmosphere and food, âehh.â Restaurant is nicely decorated, clean, well lit and great ambiance. Greeted by hostess friendly and polite. Because it was a nice night, we chose to sit outdoors. Waitstaff was good. Waiter asked if we wanted bread and we said yes. Little did we know, we discovered the bread was not free. $4 chargers for the bread service when we received the bill. We ordered the house made Szechuan pork shrimp dumplings, crispy pork spareribs, Dan Dan noodles for 2 and Caesarâs salad with salmon. The dumplings came swimming in chili oil with pork belly. The chili oil was more oil than chili and the pork belly were very tough to chew. The spareribs were also hard to eat, dry but sauce was good. The noodles also swimming in oil and tasted Okay. The Caesarâs salad lettuce was a wilted and not fresh. We wonât be visiting again any time soon.

First time visiting Square Cafe Hanover! Excellent food- Burrata black truffle ravioli w/chicken and Key like with raspberry sauce! great patio dining, romantic and cozy. Service was pretty good- Manda was efficient and polite!
My wife and I showed up and it was super packed on a Saturday at 7pm. I had forgot to make the reservation but the hostess still was able to seat us on the patio. We had the most amazing time as our waitress and the two owners Carol and Luke checked in on us several times to make sure we were OK. The atmosphere was amazing and the food to die for. We started with the wings and the boneless spare rib which melts in your mouth. For an entree, we had a rib eye with blue cheese mash and steak frites with parmsean fries and everything was great. I highly recommend this place as we will be back for sure but definitely make a reservation.

My friends and I had lunch there last Friday and had a most enjoyable experience. Our server, Jill as I remember could not have been nicer and catered to our every need.
What a wonderful experience from start to finish. We had a cozy corner table which we loved. The food was outstanding and the chef was flexible and accommodating. Our waitress's was busy and still right on point. The owners make you feel so welcome . We can't wait to go back for another date night !

I had to say this, even though I give negative feedback. I havenât had a burger for years and I heard good things about this overpriced place cafe and decided to order one. I have to say that it was the worse dining experience of my entire life. Food is over salty and I ordered a medium burger and got a dry to bone burger with burnt bacon. The fries were good but the salt cut my mouth. The waitress came and asked if everything was good and I said NO, my burger was over cooked. To add insult to injury she offered me maionese to moist my burger. No one apologized or offered a new burger or any solution. Iâm waiting for the bill. Needless to say I will never come back.

Crowded and uneventful food. Got sat in a corner booth seat and was stuck staring at the table next to us, until I asked for a proper chair to face my wife. Food was boring and not nearly as good as one would expect. Hard to mess up a hamburger and truffle fries, but they did. Boring tasteless burger, fries literally no truffle, tasted like burger king fries. Tasty and strong drink, but it also was like $14 by itself. Wont be back

Loved the indoor outdoor setup. This is a very well maintained Italian food joint. The food was good and served on time. I recommend their Ravioli and the OG Vanilla Bean CrÚme Brûlée as a must try
