I had to say this, even though I give negative feedback. I haven’t had a burger for years and I heard good things about this overpriced place cafe and decided to order one.
I have to say that it was the worse dining experience of my entire life.
Food is over salty and I ordered a medium burger and got a dry to bone burger with burnt bacon. The fries were good but the salt cut my mouth.
The waitress came and asked if everything was good and I said NO, my burger was over cooked. To add insult to injury she offered me maionese to moist my burger.
No one apologized or offered a new burger or any solution.
I’m waiting for the bill. Needless to say I will never come back.
Crowded and uneventful food. Got sat in a corner booth seat and was stuck staring at the table next to us, until I asked for a proper chair to face my wife. Food was boring and not nearly as good as one would expect. Hard to mess up a hamburger and truffle fries, but they did. Boring tasteless burger, fries literally no truffle, tasted like burger king fries. Tasty and strong drink, but it also was like $14 by itself. Wont be back

The Square Cafe is now my go-to spot. Their bread pudding is the star - I'm still dreaming about it. The holiday cocktail menu is fun creative and festive. The Sesame Salmon is a masterpiece - perfectly seared with a crispy crust while staying tender inside. The spicy soy beurre blanc sauce and wakame seaweed salad create an amazing blend of flavors and textures. What makes this place truly special is the exceptional service. Sean, Amanda, and Jimmy created such a welcoming atmosphere for our party of 9. Jimmy didn't miss a beat and was very attentive. Sean & Amanda's friendly personalities made the experience even better. Thank you! Whether you're coming for the amazing bread pudding (which you absolutely should) or the delicious food and cocktails, their warm hospitality made our visit extra special. Five stars, easily one of the best dining experiences on the South Shore.
Consistently great food and service. Weekends are to be avoided. Quite easily the best restaurant on the South Shore.....but then again, everyone else has been actively coasting into mediocrity.

Very disappointing experience. Hostess tried to seat us in corner by large party when restaurant was nearly empty. Food arrived cold within minutes of being seated. When we let hostess know food was unacceptable she said should have let her know sooner even though she asked before we actually tried the food. Well over 100 dollars and will not return.

Food was decent but expected a little more for what we paid. Tables are very close together so we could hear the other tables conversation clearly. Drinks were straight alcohol. Overall, probably won’t be back.

Went today after work. It was top notch service from the start. The host found my friend who was waiting for me, she remembered his name. Our waiter was incredible, told us about the specials, recommended our appetizer (calamari) which was spectacular, he refilled my drink as soon as it ran out. The bus boy came as soon as we were done to clear our plates. The hostess checked back in with us and chatted for a moment. We got the Bolognese....incredible.....like truly. Then the manager came to check in with us and chatted for a few. She was genuine. In fact everyone who I dealt with in there was. I can not say enough about the staff and the way I was treated, it was a level of service that seems to be fading most places you go, but not here. I was really impressed with the entire experience.

The food was very good but very pricey. For the price, the portions are small but they’re about the size of a normal dinner so no complaints, it’s just very pricey. In my opinion, it was so good it was worth it. My fish and veggies were perfectly cooked and the sauce was incredible. My husband really enjoyed his burger and fries too. Our waitress and the man going around filling waters were very kind. The hostess who seated us was kind too. There was another hostess there when we came in who looked us up and down and we felt judged. I didnt realize this was an upscale restaurant so we were in tee shirts and gym/jean shorts and felt very under-dressed and judged. The patio was a very nice experience. I love the addition of the bushes so you can’t see the parking lot. There was music playing over the speaker too. I would come back but I would definitely dress up!
Parking: Tons of parking to the front and sides, especially after Previte’s closes.
Kid-friendliness: I wouldn’t say this place is kid friendly.

Best restaurant on the south shore! First and not our last dining visit after an excellent meal. The Halibut was cooked and seasoned perfectly, the cod and shrimp scampi as well. It's a beautiful setting and one of few restaurants where you can dine and carry on a conversation with friends. The whole meal and experience was excellent and although it's a fair drive for us we can't wait to return.
