Sullivan’s at Hanover Crossing is a welcome addition to the South Shore dining scene, carrying forward the beloved tradition of its Castle Island roots while offering a fresh new location. The atmosphere strikes a great balance between casual and inviting, making it a perfect spot for families, groups of friends, or even a quick solo bite.

The menu is a well-rounded mix of favorites—fried seafood that’s golden and crispy, juicy burgers cooked just right, classic hot dogs, and hearty wraps. For those with a sweet tooth, the ice cream and milkshakes are an absolute treat and round out the experience in true New England fashion. It’s the kind of menu that appeals to everyone, and the quality is consistently high.

Equally impressive is the impeccable service. The staff are friendly, attentive, and efficient, ensuring that orders come out quickly while maintaining a welcoming and accommodating atmosphere. It’s clear that customer experience is a priority, and it elevates the dining experience even further.

In many ways, Sullivan’s at Hanover Crossing feels like a South Shore counterpart to Kelly’s Roast Beef—unique, dependable, and rooted in tradition—while still creating its own identity. The branching out from its original Castle Island location is handled with care, keeping the charm and flavors people love while making it more accessible to those who can’t always make the trip into Boston.

Overall, Sullivan’s Hanover Crossing is a fantastic spot: unique, nostalgic, delicious, and backed by service that truly makes you want to return.

We could not have picked a better place to have our baby shower! Leading up to the event, the catering team set up a phone call to help us plan the logistics and menu. In addition, they met us for a site visit to review everything. I couldn’t believe how private the semi-private space felt. They really did a nice job blocking off our reserved area so we could celebrate with our friends and family (approx 35 people). The space is very clean and has great natural light. The food was amazing and there was more than enough! We had a buffet with all of the Sullivan’s Castle Island classics and some salads. In addition, the staff walked around taking drink orders and served passed apps. All of our guests kept commenting on how great the customer service was. The team could not have been more attentive and friendly to our guests. I highly recommend Sullivan’s Hanover for events and/or a meal with friends/family. I look forward to our next visit!

I went there abs the burgers were not steaming hot, the cheese on the burgers was not melted, the buns were cold the chocolate shake was ok and the crinkle fries were good. The burgers not so much.

The guy behind the register seemed to have an attitude problem. I ordered a lobster roll and asked for no mayo just with butter. His reply was “sorry we can’t do that for you” when I looked on the app it was an option to have either or. On top of that the lobster roll was just sad. For the price you pay they gave a small amount compared to other places I’ve visited that serve lobster rolls. This place is a rip off and the staff needs to have a meeting in regard to good customer service. I will NEVER go back here and I do not recommend this place to anyone.

Although the order did not come correct Amara was our server. She was very kind and polite and made the experience that much better. I would go back because of her.

Love this restaurant! They accommodated our large party last minute and the staff was super nice and patient with our young children! The food was phenomenal and came to the table very fast! Not one complaint! The prices were very comparable to other restaurants especially for how good everyone's food was. thanks for a great family dinner , will definitely be back and be on my list for recommendations when others ask where to go.

The staff was super nice. The food was good. Same food you would expect at Castle Island with more options. Their crinkle fries are so yummy. Shout out to the manager for letting me order takeout for my husband at the last minute. They were just about to close, and he was super kind to let me place the order.
