The food is very good, especially considering that it is a hole-in-the-wall, around-the-way, takeout only type place. It's also quite expensive for the kind of place it is. Worth trying, though. All the dishes and apps we have tried were quite tasty.
I am from the north shore. Moved to Hanson 4 months ago. It is always very disappointing whenever i order lo mein and there is no pea pods. I was beyond thrilled when i opened my food and saw 3 pea pods at the top!! It was fresh, and tasted amazing. Large chunks of meat in lo mein as well. Chicken wings were a bit dry but the pea pods made up for it!!! This will be my go to place from now on! Very happy with this place!
I moved to Whitman and have been searching for a good Chinese food place for awhile now. My aunt has lived in Hanson for 15 or so years and raves about Golden Roll. This is the third time I’ve ordered from here and this place is amazing! I’m shocked there are any bad reviews! The chicken lo mein had large chunks of chicken with fresh vegetables, same with the rice. And the chicken fingers and wings were amazing as well as the Peking ravioli. I will happily drive 15 minutes...
