The Meadow Brook Restaurant & Functions

I had not been here in several years. Tried it a couple of weeks ago and everything about it was excellent. So….we tried it again. Excellent all the way around. The Cuban sandwich was top notch with home made chips that were so…so yummy! Our server, Sue, was smiling, friendly and knowledgeable. Every restaurant should have a Chef like the Meadowbrook and definitely a Server as wonderful as Sue. 5++++stars for both!

We haven’t been here since during Covid and thought we’d give it another try. Went on Sat about 5 and sat at bar. Only a few other couples there. I ordered pumpkin ravioli which was definitely too expensive at $29! Was terrible! No flavor and all the ravioli wasn’t even covered with the flavorless sauce. Chicken was very bland and greasy tasting. Husband’s turkey dinner had stone cold stuffing and was very salty. Bartender who wasn’t very attentive and appeared to be not very busy, didn’t even come over to ask us how our dinner was. When she came over to ask if we wanted boxes, no comment about the large portion that was being thrown away. She clearly did not care as we are aware she was told by another waitress who we knew from us coming there often a few years back that we weren’t happy. We’re normally leave pretty good tips but nope not this time! Even the 15% we left her was too much imo. Won’t be back.

We had a surprise 80th bday for our mom and it couldn’t have gone better! Especially because of Debbie! She was always available for questions and very accommodating. The space was beautiful, the food absolutely delicious, and the staff was on top of everything. It was a fantastic event and would recommend this restaurant to anyone!

Meadowbrook is close to the top five of my favorite restaurants in the South We have never had a bad meal here. Nikki is our favorite server We always happy when she is working and will wait for a table to open in her section.
Appetizers, chowder Salads, salmon are always delicious.

Mediocre at best! The food was below average, service was okay, our waitress was quick but no no personality and did not engage with us socially. She gave the impression that she did not want to be there. There were several private events going on in their function rooms, but the dining room and bar area had plenty of available tables. Reservations are not needed for this place. The prices were reasonable, not exaggerated in anyway there is plenty of parking and is handicap assessable. This place is definitely dated and needs to come into our century. It reminds me of the old Bella’s in Rockland, it needs a complete overhaul incuding the food, menus and atmosphere.
The food orders were plentiful, but had no flavor whatsoever. I think quantity wins over quality!

The warm brown butter cake is fabulous! The chicken salad roll, on the daily special, was good too! Grandmother thought clam chowder had too many potatoes. She also complained the whole lunch about a poster roll she had there for mother's day lol

Excellent service, food, portions and price. Our first time and we will be returning. Had the glazed salmon which was cooked to perfection, the asparagus was not over cooked and the sweet potato mash was seasoned a little strong for my taste but still very good. Even my French martini was perfect.

Always a great time. This place is a hidden gem.

Went to an Autism eats event in the function room there. Food was good staff was super helpful. We will be going back for dinner in the restaurant
