had a great experience picking peaches. Peach pizza and apple cider were not my favorite
We've been numerous times. Staff has always been a hit or miss for us, cider is always good. We usually go for the sausage and banana pepper pizza, which is tasty. We were a little confused when we asked for a glass of water, as well as a cider, and were given and charged for bottles of water. Not that it was expensive, but typically places don't charge for a glass of water with a meal. đ€·đ»ââïž
The owner of this place was extremely rude. I understand itâs a busy season, but the staff were clearly not trained and didnât even know the way to the exit. Because of their misdirection, I ended up on the wrong road where there was no sign posted at all. Despite that, the owner (a man in a red shirt) chased me down in a golf cart and yelled, âHow did you get your driverâs license? Have you not seen the sign?â Again, there was no sign there.
When I asked to speak with the manager, I was told by his nephew that âthis is just how he is.â The manager herself even admitted that he sometimes doesnât think before he speaks and that he treats her this way too. If the staff are untrained and the owner himself is this unprofessional, it speaks volumes about how poorly this place is run.
Overall, the behavior was aggressive, unprofessional, and unacceptable
The guy on the golf car works here is so rude to customers and saying something badly to people. The place is very disorganized to guide the car and the sign is very unclear.
They donât know how to run an orchard well. The line moves very slowly because they donât even have a POS machine. When I got there all the white peaches were all picked up, but they are still selling boxes to the incoming customers. They donât have enough shuttles to transfer the ppl to another orchard with white peach. So many ppl were upset.
My family and I have been coming here for years to Carlson Orchards for the wide variety of apples and nectarines which are delicious and worth it. We enjoy this orchard and recommend to friends/family. However, today we had a negative experience with 2 young ladies at the PYO sales tent next the farm stand where they kept repeating to everyone not to fill their box above the brim or else we would get charged extra (this was the first year we heard this before). Then one of them asked to see my motherâs small purse, which was unnecessary. In addition to overhearing them ask other families with children to see their diaper bags or to ask them to leave them behind. Weâve never experienced this from other MA farms.. On the upside, we met 3 very nice staff; the owner Bruce who was cruising around who was such a lovely man to chat with, the worker directing PYO nectarine and tractor driver were very sweet to us. We will be back, but hopefully their tent sale workers will be nicer and less overbearing in the future.
Great place
Great place even for adults to have some fun to pick you own.
Living in the Boston area for 30+ years. Carlson Orchards carries great memories of my children growing up. Today as I got on the road leading to the farm, my heart just warmed up.
Incredibly rude staff members, come here if you want to be yelled at. They took peaches out from our bucket even though the peaches were below the brim, after we counted the peaches and there were 16 for $40. I suspect this is how they end up with peaches to sell, they just poach the services of customers. Youâre better off just buying from the store or going to Parlee Farms.
Was looking for peach picking nearby and Iâm so glad I stumbled upon this spot! Iâve tried a couple of other places over the years and all those places got very overcrowded and charged even on days they had nothing left, or there werenât really peach picking options. This one had ample parking on a nice Sunday. The peach trees are close by, walking distance about 2-3 minutes from where u purchase the size box u want. I got the $28 box, while it seemed small, it fit a good amount for my family of 4. There are people in tents at each section that provide direction for what you decide to do. The man on the tractor near the peach and nectarine trees was very helpful in guiding my family where we needed to go and what side was ready and what was left. The peaches were very sweet and juicy, while the nectarines were a little harder and slightly sweet. They had a food truck serving brisket for the weekend and it smelled divine, but we didnât have time to try it, hopefully next time. Their market is small but had the usual stuff youâd need, such as apple cider donuts!

Always a great time here. Even on a cloudy day. Good cider and decent food. Great staff. Great setting. Fun for families and friends. Giant tables inside and out. Bathrooms clean and accessible.
Love this farm's fruits and veggies, specially the peaches! We had a nice time picking!
Beautiful orchard! My only source of local fresh fruits, particularly white lady peach in summer and honey crisp apple in fall.
Excellent spot for a cider. Also has a nice shop with fruit and other foods.
My family always loves going to Carlsonâs Orchard. They have food and hard cider, season events, and pick your own apples, cherries and berries. The venue is clean and very well maintained making it great for families. Donât miss it or you will miss out.
