This used to be a wonderful restaurant with an excellent Sunday brunch. Now it's a very, very limited snack bar. Not even a cafe. A farm-to-fork snack bar--the food was good--but it was shocking compared to what it was a few years ago. It offered one sandwich, one salad, one soup, pizza, and grilled cheese. There were only five tables and chairs set out. They're focusing instead on catering for weddings. The view's still the same. But we're very disappointed as we used to love this place.

Compared to several years ago, it used to be somewhat upscale with good food and tablecloths and waitresses. Now no tablecloths, no waitresses - little more than fast food.

Parking: Plenty of parking.

Went there for a professional meeting. The appetizers were excellent from mini lobster rolls , steak and cheese, bean tacos. The view is excellent. Unfortunately it was cloudy and raining so didn't go out.

After checking the Trustees site to pick a date and time, my girlfriend and I drove out to the Fruitlands museum. When we arrived it seemed something was amiss as the gate was only half open. We drove in and I went to the gift shop to see what was going on. When I entered the building the woman behind the counter shushed me while she carried on an insipid conversation on her cell phone for about 10 minutes. Then she interrogated me like an angry schoolmarm about where I got the information that the museum was open. She was obviously spitting mad that she had to interact with a member of the public and looking for any opportunity to insult me. The grounds are beautiful but the behavior of this staff member was ugly. I doubt I’ll return.

Food was great, wait not so much. I waited over 40 minutes today for a sandwich. Granted it was in between the lunch rush on a Saturday. They originally told me 10-15 minutes and they did have an event. I thought it would be quick, but it wasn't.The staff was very apologetic and gave me my drink and chips early after I commented about how long I was waiting. If you are looking for something quick to eat (on a weekend) amd dont want to wait, this might not be the best option.A little disappointed by the trustees as a member. But I will assume that this isn't what typical happens. If I had to take a guess it is probably due to short staff/ covid stuff that caused the wait. I was told by others though that they were waiting really long too.I have only been here once though.

We like a lot to go out. Yesterday we went to this excellent place which we didn’t know before. We spent a lovely time there with fine cooking and a nice crew and a great chief cook. We put this place in our phone list and we will certainly visit again soon. We highly recommend.
