Beautiful place as well as the view. Food good. Dessert good. Wait staff veey busy. Long line to gwt a table but ok with rhw wait. Wanted aomething off specials menu only to be told that was yesterdays specials. All in all we would go back. Parking is a challnege (and it was a monday night!)
Sadky food to go not as good as it was previously 😪 biggest problem is listening... got a potato asked for 4 butters received 0...asked for fries well done received soggy...grilled cheese sandwich barley cooked. 😪
Definitely go inside to eat!!! They have a great place here & good food & very nice ppl!! Just need to pay attention to detail!!
Very busy place. We wanted to sit at the bar no seats available. We were given a wonderful seat with a wonderful view. Our waitress was a sweetheart. I wish I remembered her name. Food came out quick! I am picky about onion rings and I wasn’t impressed with them and the up charge $4.50.
On Friday June 20, 2025, we went to eat at Brax as we always do when down at the Cape. We put in our name for a spot in the deck and after waiting a short time we received a text that our table for 6 was ready. When we went up to the hostess outside, we were immediately taken back by her rudeness and lack of professionalism. Another group of people cut in front of us as we were following her to our table, and she seated them instead. We looked at her dumbfounded and she just blew us off as if it wasn’t her problem. I can understand there are accidents and we would’ve been ok with that, but she was so beyond rude to us at that point. A simple smile and apology would’ve been good. She ended up making us stand in three different spots for the next 5 minutes as another table was being cleared. As a hostess, you should do better with dealing with the public. As a business owner, I would have her removed from that position immediately. She was blonde with shoulder length curly hair, wish I got her name but unfortunately did not. After we were seated, we needed our waiter and couldn’t find him, so my 12 year old went up and asked the lady that seemed to be the outdoor deck manager (short, older woman with very long hair), and she also was rude to my child, saying that if she doesn’t know the table number, she can’t help her. Again that completely rude and uncalled for. My daughter came back in tears. For a higher end restaurant, I expect a little more. Please do better with your staff.
The outside porch in the summer is very interesting. The portion sizes are large and sumptuous. One of the best lobster rolls meals around. The fish tacos appetizer is like a meal. The nacho plate could feed a family of five. The vegetables are piled on and fresh, but the particular nachos they use are kind of boring and still something we get every time we go.
Turns out this is not dog friendly. Only service dogs are allowed!
A favorite spot in the Cape with great service and an incredible atmosphere. The food quality has gone down in recent years. The Cesear Salas was underwhelming, fish and chips was a tiny portion of fish and hamburger rolls fall apart. Great place for groups, events, reunions, get together. Overall a great place but again the food quality is not what it used to be.

I go about once a year hoping to not be disappointed, but always regret returning. The food has been bland every time. Clearly they get the most economical choices the food distributor has to offer. Frozen/thawed proteins are overcooked and dry. Frozen veg should never be served by any restaurant. Lobster bisque should have lobster. Never would consider wasting money on dessert.
The view is the only thing worth going for. And you can get that for free from the parking lot next door.
It's another example a mediocre cape restaurant being kept afloat by a liquor license and patrons who don't want to pay Ember or Port prices.

We went on a Wednesday at the end of the season. We went early and got a table for six with no problem, but it does fill up!
My husband enjoyed his expensive cocktail, and we both loved the food. The lobster roll was AMAZING!!!
GO THERE!

The food is great and the service was standard. The atmosphere is beautiful. Although they are super busy, they are organized and serve food in a timely manner. I really enjoyed the place and would come back.
