Very sadly, the Tavern closed abruptly on January 11, 2022. A real loss to year-rounders in the area. Lots of from-scratch entrees, commitment to local music, and a fun, new outdoor tiki area in the spring/summer. Hopefully, there's a change of heart or food and beverage get outsourced.

We had my sister's b'day party here on 12/4/21. It was a perfect venue, very cozy and welcoming - even had live music! We were a party of 13 - June was our waitress and did an amazing job. We had apps, drinks, and dinner - the staff was very accommodating, even serving the b'day cake we brought in. All the food was absolutely delicious from appetizers through main courses. My husband had the two-meatball pasta dinner - a chef special! It was huge but he managed to finish it all. All the dinners we had were very good. We definitely recommend this venue - wish we lived closer so we could come more often. I was even lucky enough to meet the chef! Great job by the entire staff helping us celebrate a special birthday.

Went for the first time last night- what a delightful surprise so close to home! Quaint, cozy tavern with live music. Food was great, got a cauliflower crust flatbread and shrimp scampi, very reasonably priced. Service was excellent and the atmosphere was friendly and fun. Music was a variety of pop and some country. What a great find- we will be back!

I can't say enough about the waitstaff of Harwich Tavern in West Harwich. June was very kind, accommodating, patiently responding to our questions about the menu choices. I was grateful to have a good Greek salad ($9.95) , which I have not been able to find at many restaurants on the Cape. The Flatbreads, which are essentially pizzas are good. I wolfed down the vegetarian one ($12.95), which although it had more melted cheese than I usually try to eat, was good. My companion was very happy with her fish tacos ($14.95). She felt that the fried broccoli that came with it, which while tasty, was a little overly oily. There was a guitarist playing that set a nice tone. Harwich Tavern may not be easy to find with the naked eye as you drive by. It is in the basement of a big house/building. Your GPS will guide you there.

Just ok food. Fun stuff for kids. If you have someone in your part of it needs to be gluten-free, this is a good option. Small portions of ok food.

Have discovered this local gem recently. We love the chicken pot pie. Uniquely presented with flakey phylo. Big fan of the Harwich Rough Rider flatbread served with awesome blue cheese. Generous portion of Fish and chips which is also outstanding. They make their own potato chips - crunchy and delicious! Just had the chicken gyro which was fabulous. Love everything we have tried. Owner and staff really friendly too. Two thumbs up!!

Don't bother. 5 couples not one good meal. I gave it one star because they give you a good pour in a glass of wine.

Cute little Tavern. My husband and I went in for a small meal. We both ordered hamburgs. They were huge and cooked perfectly! Our waitress, June was a sweet lady and very attentive. We sat down by the little fire place and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Had a great time the other night at the Tavern. We sat at the bar and did not know apps were half price from 3-6. Our bartender George was very attentive even though he had a full bar. Food was outstanding I had baked fish, huge portion and melted in my mouth. My husband had the fish and chips and gave it 5 stars. We will definitely return. We are recommending the Tavern to our friends and family.
