Jake Rooney’s place has the best burgers in the area along with the chicken wings for extra crispy and the side sauces are amazing. The pretzel was delicious. Soft yet chewy with a nice cheese side sauce. The steak tips are delicious definitely not fatty. Chicken and steak fajitas are amazing with onions and everything else that comes along with it …sizzling hot. The waitress Kim is an amazing employee and very helpful, friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu options. Looking forward to coming back again.

The Nachos Grande chips were significantly burnt, many chips did not have any toppings, this item was supposed to be topped with lettuce and tomato per the menu description, and when asked for another condiment cup of sour cream it was stated that the kitchen ran out. There was a significant delay with one person at the table receiving their food, and the overall service quality was poor.

We happened to pick this place because it was nearby another place we’re visiting and we were hungry. It was so good!! The lobster roll was one of the best I’ve had on our trip this week. Everything we had was really good- chicken tenders, tots… all of it. Would do again

Food is always great. Service has been nothing but attentive and courteous. Atmosphere is a little busy, crowded. I recommend sitting in the back of you want to chat because the bar area is loud. Nothing against the bar, if that's what you like.

The seafood pasta with white wine sauce was excellent. Plenty of shrimp, cams, scallops and haddock. It came out steaming hot and the seafood was perfectly cooked.
The veal parm was also very delicious with a generous serving of veal over penne topped with gooey cheese. We opted to share the seafood pasta and take the veal parm home for another meal to look forward to.
We had an excellent server. It was busy and only two servers were working the whole place as two others had called out. It was impressive how the two working took care of everyone efficiently and with smiles on their faces.
Thank you! Lookong forward to our next visit to explore more pf their extensive menu. Everything that passed by out table made me say, "Oh, that looks good!"

Jake Rooney’s is absolutely perfect for a low-key night out on Cape Cod. We visited this establishment twice in a week and it was my favorite among many excellent restaurants.
Our first meal (clam chowder, boiled lobster, baked potatoes, cole slaw and homemade apple crisp!) was an impeccable taste of New England — truly fabulous food!
We tried the lobster stew on a second visit and it was perhaps the single best dish I’ve ever tasted: buttery, creamy, infused with the intense taste of lobster and rich with lobster meat. Call it essence of lobster in a bowl.
