Food was horrible. Pricey which would be fine if the food was good. Muscles plate...half the shells were empty. Crispy Brussels were soggy and under cooked. Owner would not come to our table to address but gave us the Brussels for free. We did not want anything for free, just to be able to give our feedback to someone who cared. Did not happen.

We were seated in the Tavern section and it was difficult to have conversations because of the volume. Our waitress was not very attentive and I had asked to have the a/c turned up as it was blowing on us and they did nothing.

Kitchen manager Eddie was great - he spoke w/me about my allergies and guided me on ways to eat safely. I ordered a meal that was not cooked all the way - poultry should never come out rare/raw so I had to send that back. There was a dirty plate at my seat when I first sat down, and the restaurant had a stale/gas smell, as well as being too stuffy with closed windows and no a/c. while the kitchen did accommodate my dietary needs, it wasn't an amazing enough experience to go back. My friend's dish was cooked fine, though.

We have dined at Mooncussers Tavern twice. We will dine there again many times. Fresh fish specials are highly recommended. Food comes to the table piping hot and flavors are out of this world. Salads - delicious! Great wine list. Great service. You feel very welcome there. Very nice atmosphere inside & out.

We opted to sit n the bar area and were shown to a cute little table in a little alcove that was perfect for the two of us. They had Frog's Legs for an appetizer and since they were gluten free, we tried them- delicious! Tasted like chicken! Our meals were good! We have eaten here before and will return again.

Mixed experience. My wife's Blue Martini did not have any vodka in it nor did it have blue cheese olives. They sent us a replacement drink (after 15 minutes). The Caesar salad consisted of extremely large, very very dark green leaves that were primarily outer leaves. Suitable for feeding a goat. The shrimp dish, however, was outstanding with a very unique flavoring. What made up for the drink issue and the goat leaf salad was the halibut. It was absolutely superb. We would return again, but we definitely not order the Caesar salad.
