We were seated in the Tavern section and it was difficult to have conversations because of the volume. Our waitress was not very attentive and I had asked to have the a/c turned up as it was blowing on us and they did nothing.
Kitchen manager Eddie was great - he spoke w/me about my allergies and guided me on ways to eat safely. I ordered a meal that was not cooked all the way - poultry should never come out rare/raw so I had to send that back. There was a dirty plate at my seat when I first sat down, and the restaurant had a stale/gas smell, as well as being too stuffy with closed windows and no a/c. while the kitchen did accommodate my dietary needs, it wasn't an amazing enough experience to...
We have dined at Mooncussers Tavern twice. We will dine there again many times. Fresh fish specials are highly recommended. Food comes to the table piping hot and flavors are out of this world. Salads - delicious! Great wine list. Great service. You feel very welcome there. Very nice atmosphere inside & out.
