Truly one of the most spectacular dining experiences we've ever had. The view is unsurpassed, and every dish that we had was outstanding.
The four-course meal was fantastic! Fresh well prepared food, beautifully presented and delicious. Great service and great views.
28 Atlantic is a unique culinary experience. The ambiance and service contribute to that experience. The food is outstanding, the service impeccable and the ambiance is to die for. If you have never experienced a culinary experience hurry to 28 Atlantic to check an item off your "bucket list."
We were expecting the same 5-star service and experience as we had last year. Sadly, Twenty-Eight Atlantic fell short tonight in so many areas. We waited over 30 minutes after being seated to receive our cocktails and longer to receive the menus. and, we were not the only table to experience this. While the service staff was trying their hardest, the kitchen AND the bar were in the weeds. Poor service, poor communication, and the noise level of the band playing in the bar next-door made this like a laughable experience. You can do better than this!
Truly a five star restaurant. Finest meal my wife and I ever had on the cape. Kudos folks at 28!
It was the finest meal we've had in a very long time... It's extremely pricey, but the ambiance, the attentiveness of the staff, and the food were all Five Star... It was our anniversary and they went above and beyond to make it feel like a special event.
Food was exceptional as it always is, but they are clearly understaffed. Had to wait over 30 mins at bar to get a drink before dinner. Once seated, had to wait another half hour to even get menus. Waitress kept trying to clear our drinks before we were done with them, and they were small to begin with. For the high price of the experience, the service should have been way better.
The service was extremely slow and inattentive. The prix fixe menu was unimaginative and the portions were small. For what we got the cost was exorbitant. I had cod that was a poor piece of fish and mostly inedible. By the time we had the waiter's attention, the meal was done. When I pointed out the problem to the waiter, a manager came by and asked what I wanted the restaurant to do about it rather than offering anything in compensation. Sadly, it was an unsatisfactory experience and we will not be returning.
Superb food attractively presented. Wait staff a little slow. Gorgeous ambience. Very noisy table with small children right next to us, but mercifully they left shortly after we were seated.
My fiancée and I were excited for a special Valentine's Day dinner at Twenty-Eight Atlantic, but what we experienced was nothing short of a disaster. The night started at the bar, where we ordered an espresso martini and a cosmopolitan. The bartender—an older gentleman with black hair—was clearly inexperienced and struggled to make even basic cocktails. It took him over 10 minutes to prepare my drink, using a shaker far smaller than the glass he was serving it in. He repeatedly got flustered, realized he hadn't made enough, and bizarrely poured vodka directly into the top of the sealed shaker. When he opened it, the extra vodka spilled all over his hands, and instead of starting over, he just handed me a half-filled martini. The couple sitting next to us, who witnessed the ordeal, laughed and even told me, “I wouldn't drink that.” Unfortunately, the drinks weren't just poorly made—they were outright undrinkable. We're not picky drinkers, but both cocktails were so bad that we had to leave them untouched. Hoping the dinner service would be better, we moved to our table, only to be met with more disappointment. My fiancée politely told our waiter that her cosmopolitan was undrinkable and asked if she could order another cosmo. Instead of addressing the issue, he dismissively responded, “Well, everyone gets a glass of champagne tonight, so just drink that.” It was rude, unhelpful, and completely unacceptable at a restaurant of this supposed caliber. She eventually managed to order a glass of wine from another server, but this was just the beginning of the service issues. Throughout our five-course meal, we barely saw our waiter—twice, to be exact. Our water glasses were never refilled, no one checked on us, and we were left entirely unattended. It wasn't just our table—service was abysmal across the board. The couple next to us left without even eating their dinner. They walked out and said this is inexcusable.

If we were havinga. regular dinner we would chalk things up to inexperience or poor front of house management and not worry about it, however this was advertised (and charged) as a special experience for Valentine's Day. Here's where we felt disappointed: -Refused to give me a drink menu, apparently you don't offer cocktail menus on Valentine's Day. -We waited 30 minutes for the drinks we did order and no one ever offered to refresh them. -Our water was only refilled once, which was inconvienent since we never got any other drinks. -We couldn't get our waitress's attention to ask for refills or fix the wobbly table and no one ever came to check on us so we were pretty thirsty (and a little frustrated) by the end. -The salad was obviously pre and over dressed. The lettuce was saturated and wilted and there was a LOT of acid. It was inedible. -We got the meat course but had to wait (again) for someone to bring us silverware. -Finally just asked for the dessert to go. Another 20 minute wait. Again, if this was a regular dinner we'd say "meh" and just not go back. However, I grew up on Cape and have always heard wonderful things about the Wequassett so I was very much looking forward to what was promised to be a special night. Unfortunately it was just "meh."
Food was great, can tell the ingredients were thoughtfully selected to go together. Service was pretty poor, given wrong food, staff looked like this was their first time doing a Valentine Day dinner event, and waited well over an hour for dessert. Seemed like when the second wave of patrons arrived, this place essentially forgot about those sat waiting for food and service previously. When you pay $360 for two for dinner you expect the service to match the excellent food coming from the chef; however, I can assure you, any Chili's, Red Lobster, or Olive Garden across this country can wipe the floor with this 5 star resort on terms of the quality of their dining service.
Enjoyed a wonderful Valentine's Day multi course dinner with my lovely wife. The view, food and service couldn't have been better. Certainly one of the finer restaurants on the cape if not MA. We have dined here before but we forget just how wonderful this place is. Staff (includes chef, food prep) couldn't have been more spot on. Enjoy
I cannot say enough great things about 28 Atlantic. It was our very first night of our honeymoon, visiting all the way from California. We did some research and found this place. We are so glad we chose this as our first dinner for the honeymoon. It was beautiful, romantic and the food was spectacular. I can truly say after dining at some of the best restaurants in Carmel, Monterey, Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, this was BY FAR our best dining experience. From the food to the ambiance. Everything was exquisite. I want to say a special thank you to Rene and chef. You guys made our East Coast experience a core memory for a lifetime. Thank you. We will never forget it. - Sam Paz and Megan Hurley-Paz
Six stars wouldn't be enough. Simply outstanding. Each item was both a work-of-art and delicious. In the order of experiencing them. Friendly, attentive but not over-dominating service as some 5-star/Michelin star places have. A great, varied wine list at fair price-points for where you are and the type of restaurant. If I had to complain about something (to prove this is genuine), it's that I live 1,000 miles away and can't come here monthly. But otherwise, a great evening.
