Great spot to stop in at for coffee or a sandwich. Excellent outdoor seating. Good service, great location and easy public parking nearby. Plus Wifi. Highly recommended!

It is a much better place to go to than the one next to them. Went for drinks outside. The place is very busy and crowded which is usually for the summer time. Limited seating when busy and long line at the bar. They have a moderate selection of beer, good mix drinks. Also been there for breakfast which was decent.

Staff was great as well as atmosphere. Nothing special but a fun place to have some drinks with family. Food was mixed. Oysters and shrimp were good. Tacos were ok at best. Worth checking out. Entertainment setting up when we left as had young ones with us. Still would recommend trying.

We had Coffees and shared a chocolate cupcake. The coffees were okay & the cupcake was okay, once it defrosted. The service was lacking because the person who took it order was either half asleep or just didn't care. How hard can it be to figure out the difference between a chocolate cupcake and the vanilla? The outside area was definitely Not what I would call clean. They really need to step it up a bit.

We made a stop to take advantage of the oyster special in the afternoon: we ordered ten tiny oysters at $1 each and ten bigger ones at $2 each. There was no place to seat, so we hang out on the porch were they have surf boards as tables. Cute but uncomfortable, since you have to stand up. Why not put some high seats there? This place is charming and there's a cozy beer garden, plus their coffee is good. Unfortunately I have to say we went to get $1 oysters at The Port restaurant (very close in the same town) and they gave us big oysters without charging us double, so I would not go back to Perks for that.

We really wanted to love this place; but we went to sit at a table for lunch at 11:50am and unfortunately it was a pretty negative experience. Quick tip: Definitely not the place to go with hungry kids!There were only 3 bartenders and one waitress so it took a long time just to figure out how to get our kids some water (we finally learned it was self serve from a water jug past the bar) and ask for a menu. You pick your own table (which is fine but there were no directions or sign), you have to order all food and drinks from the bar (which took forever), and the (okay) food took over an hour after we ordered. We probably ate an hour and a half after arriving.Perks was disappointing; it has so much potential but could definitely use a few changes!
