We had a three course meal and it took 3 hours. The food was sooooo slow coming out. My husband’s steak was small and not good. The entrees come without vegetables. No music- lovely view. Very expensive with just one waiter serving several tables. The food was definitely not worth the cost or the wait.

I cannot say enough great things about 28 Atlantic. It was our very first night of our honeymoon, visiting all the way from California. We did some research and found this place. We are so glad we chose this as our first dinner for the honeymoon. It was beautiful, romantic and the food was spectacular. I can truly say after dining at some of the best restaurants in Carmel, Monterey, Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, this was BY FAR our best dining experience. From the food to the ambiance. Everything was exquisite. I want to say a special thank you to Rene and chef. You guys made our East Coast experience a core memory for a lifetime. Thank you. We will never forget it. - Sam Paz and Megan Hurley-Paz

Six stars wouldn't be enough. Simply outstanding. Each item was both a work-of-art and delicious. In the order of experiencing them. Friendly, attentive but not over-dominating service as some 5-star/Michelin star places have. A great, varied wine list at fair price-points for where you are and the type of restaurant. If I had to complain about something (to prove this is genuine), it's that I live 1,000 miles away and can't come here monthly. But otherwise, a great evening.

I had the 7 course menu and my partner had the 3 course. In general the food was not served hot enough. 7 course: tuna was tasteless and bland. Burrata was tasteless .Scallops were overcooked and rubbery, but accompaniments were good. Halibut was highlight of dinner- served hot and the curry sauce was innovative and tasty. Wagyu was a big disappointment- chewy and fatty. The creme brûlée was very good. 3 course: mushroom bisque served cold. Wagyu as above. Server was pleasant but a bit too chatty. Did not inquire at all as to our satisfaction with the courses. Water glasses needed more attention. Assistants who brought food out hard to understand. Overall a big disappointment for the hype and $'s.

Best restaurant I’ve ever been to in Cape Cod. The food, service and atmosphere were incredible. I booked way in advance to be sure I didn’t miss out when coming to the Cape for vacation.

We had a wonderful dining experience. Rennie and staff took amazing care of us. Views of Pleasant Bay were stunning. Great tasting menu and excellent wine list. Highly recommend. Ask for Rennie.

The view is magnificent, the staff exceptional, but the food....Blah beyond belief. The meal was ridiculously overpriced and under-spiced ($500 for two of us with two drinks and two 3-course ...appetizer, main and dessert..meals). The menu is limited to a very few items that are so overly complicated that every dish comes off as all show and no substance. There seemed to be no rhyme or reason to the elements being jammed together in any of the offerings. It was very confusing and odd. There was no flavor, no excitement. Not even salt!? The only interesting things we ate the entire meal were found in the small palette cleansers after each course...they honestly were the best part of the entire experience. If you don't mind spending $500 or more for a lovely view of Pleasant Bay, then go forewarned. However, know that you can get the same view at the property's Beach Grill for a whole lot less money and enjoy better, less pretentious food. With salt.

Twenty Eight Atlantic is a special place, but still casual and very comfortable. Chef James Hackney is masterful with the menu and the creation of every dish. Service is super friendly and attentive. One of the best restaurants on the east coast of the U.S.

What a fantastic restaurant. We celebrated our 50th anniversary at Twenty-Eight Atlantic and had such an enjoyable time. We were a little concerned about the Prix Fixe menu and the tasting menu since we had a poor experience at another restaurant. We were worried for nothing. The portions were ample and we actually had difficulty in completing our meals. We started with an "enhancement - addition to menu" of Sashimi. It included hamachi, salmon and tuna. All were excellent and one of the best sashimi plates we have had. Our first course was the summer burrata and spring asparagus. Both plates were visually appealing and delicious. For the second course, my wonderful wife had the Butter-Poached Lobster. This is a 1-1/4 pound lobster out of the shell with roasted corn, fennel, sea-lettuce and crab meat in a pastry roll. I had the Australian A5 Strip Steak with beef cheeks with a carrot cake puree, mushroom and potato, truly excellent. Dessert was also excellent. Note that you also get a small appetizer, a palate cleanser between courses and a small dessert for each. Our bottle of wine was great. Eli, our server was very attentive and friendly We were treated so well by all he staff and even received a small gift in honor of our anniversary. This is a great place with a large window overlooking Pleasant Bay. The grounds are also gorgeous.

We went to this restaurant last year and it was quite good. We returned again this year and didnt have the same experience. I had the scallops for the first course. It was barely warm and just didn't taste very good. I had the poached lobster for the main dish and it tasted of ammonia indicating something was wrong with it. The dessert was underwhelming. The final bill was eye popping and the final insult was the 20% mandatory resort gratuity on every check regardless of the level of service received. We won't return again.

Our annual anniversary destination and NEVER disappointed. If you want to treat your wife like a Queen take her here. The food is original and scrumptious. The service is always superb and professional. The dining room is elegant with a seaside resort smart casual feel. My compliments again to the Chef and entire staff of 28 Atlantic. See you next year!

We celebrated our 32nd anniversary at 28 Atlantic & we couldn't have been more pleased. The bay view was spectacular. We chose the three course option & the food was superb. The super staff & servers made us feel truly special. My husband & I highly recommend 28 Atlantic for special occasions or just because.
