Overall good, however not an abundance of choices. There could have been a warm chicken and fish choice and a few lunch type choices. Some of the items were under covers were only lukewarm. I guess I expected a little more from Twenty-Eight Atlantic.
Went for prix fixe Christmas dinner. Food was very good, space is very nice, but the service seemed a bit unattentive, which was unfortunate as they added an automatic 20% service charge to the bill.
Pretty dining room. Food is tasty and interesting. No valet parking. They seated us next to wait station when there were other tables available.
We had a lovely meal and the service was very good. The resort is beautifully decorated for the holidays. Really gets you in the spirit.
Bar experience was perfect thanks to Sebastian, our new favorite bar tender of all time. Meal in dining room a mixed bag. Room is cavernous, bread was great, salads were overdressed, my monkfish was quite good, but my wife's salmon was fishy & covered in (unadvertised) cilantro, which she hates. So just an ok food experience. Next time we'll eat more casually at the bar.
While we live about a mile away, we've never dined here and decided to do so for a holiday treat. Upon entering the Wequassett grounds, it was somewhat difficult to locate twenty-eight Atlantic. Most of the signage pertained to lodging/room numbers. We did eventually locate three signs (all on one post together) for three different dining venues. Unfortunately those signs were in front of multiple entrances and none of those doors were identified as restaurants. We walked around for a bit and eventually were able to ask for directions to our dining room. The menu offered only 6 entrees, along with a couple of surprising choices we thought would be found at their other casual restaurants. The two fish choices were salmon and monk fish tail, along with chicken, lamb, beef and a vegetarian choice. Our food (salmon and lamb) was average and we would have preferred more menu choices. Our meal presentation was lovely, and the service impeccable. A jazz trio provided festive ambiance and the decks were lit with holiday lights with fire pits blazing. We may return in the day time to enjoy the view, and hopefully next time we'll find the place easier!
They changed their menu for the winter. I was hoping for the fine dining option but they stopped that a few weeks ago and now have a traditional casual menu. The food was great. The room was a bit stuffy and quiet and the jazz music was wonderful. Somewhat highbrow crowd having casual food. The server looked at me in an odd way when I asked for the beer list. Almost like beer was below their standards for a venue of their caliber. However, with burgers on the menu I thought that attitude was a bit rude and snobby. The burger was amazing and cooked to perfection. I would like to give it a chance again when the fine dining menu is back.
I have to say, reviews with less than 5 stars should be ignored. Twenty Eight Atlantic is a divine experience for those who appreciate the art of good food. While the food far exceeds any expectations, the dining staff all around are kind beyond belief, extremely professional and truly provide a wonderful fine dining experience. This experience is a treat and like no other. You will not regret your visit for any special occasion.

Dinner was wonderful in a quiet beautiful atmosphere. We had drinks and bread service, cesar salad the chicken and filet. Was my birthday a got a nice card and small torte foe dessert. Wait staff and bartender both were very accomatdating and friendly. Great place to relax and have a delicious romantic dinner
Thanksgiving meal 2025. Exceptional service, gorgeous setting, large variety of food choices. Arrived for 1st seating. Buffet style. Not one item was hot…barely luke warm … squash soup, root vegetables, green beans, mashed potatoes, turkey. You’d think a five star restaurant could keep food hot. Minor criticism … could have used some greenery or decorations to make the buffet area look more festive and attractive. Disappointed.

Dishes were mediocre at best, a few were inedible. My husband spent all night throwing up after the meal and when they were informed of this they were quite dismissive. Save your money, plenty of great restaurants on the cape, this isn’t one of them.

Overall - the food, the service, the atmosphere was excellent. I have had dinner at the restaurant a few times and had a great experience each time.
28 Atlantic was what I expected from a resort resturant. The food was good but not show stopping. The ambiance is very nice and the service was what we expected. One suggestion clearly mark the entrance as we had difficulty finding it. Overall a nice meal and good cocktails
An exceptional place to dine, especially for a special occasion. The service is outstanding!! There is great care and attention to detail on all fronts!!
The food was so awesome! My favorite was the carrot salad and the lobster carbonara! Spectacular!
