if I can give a negative review I would , I been eating here for almost 4 years and I never had a problem til this past weekend where I ordered a cheese burger and caught food poisoning!! The manager or staff that has poor communication told me I should’ve chose a healthier meal needs to be fired and I’m gonna do my best to make sure . Whole restaurant needs to be shut down and order new food ..

We love Athens :)! They make our favorite grilled chicken Cesar salad wraps, the best homemade Greek soup, and delicious crispy fries! We’ve been going to them for years and love the owners—very nice, hardworking people!

Third time here, two times prior weren’t very good. This time was just as mediocre/bad but what struck me was the customer service from the owner. I order a small amount of food, a minute later a cop who’s apparently on old friend orders after me, he gets his big order in 5-10 minutes and I wait for about 15-20 minutes to get mine. We ordered the same chicken finger dinner but his was bigger. Chicken is burnt to hell, french fries are whatever, asked for bbq sauce and didn’t get it but instead was given those cheap packets of orange duck sauce… awesome.

Well, sorry to say that yesterday was not good. Young lady took my order. It was a chickenwing dinner, a small cheese pizza and 2 steak bombs. The pizza was for my mom, she's 92. She called me to tell me that it was very greasy. 2nd. They gave us chicken tenders instead of chicken wings. And finally for the cherry on top, there was a hair in 1 of the steak bomb subs. I called them back and the gentleman on the phone offered to make it again but once you see hair you dont want to eat there again. I just suggested to the man on the phone that they need better quality control of their food, ie: maybe the people that handle the food should wear hair nets and beard nets as well..not good.. they lost us as customers..

0 star horrible service.. recorded my call and never asked for pick up..they asked me twice and I clearly stated DELIVERY… and they have the nerve to ask me to show them my recorded call so I can prove to them I asked for delivery not only once but twice! Made me waist my time for nothing! So unprofessional! HORRIBLE! Never again will have my family or multiple friends order from you

i’ve been getting athens for at least 12 years and i can say they are my favorite. like a lot of places it’s hard to find decent workers but the owner is trying his best with what he has. i always see so many regulars going in.
but at night when it’s super busy i have noticed that it takes a little while to get food delivered but when they are having to drive during rush hour and fighting traffic i can’t blame them.
i saw some reviews really trashing Athens but they aren’t a franchise, so when it comes to mistakes they can’t always solve it by giving customers money back. Also they can’t just fire a worker and have them replaced within the week. every worker is needed.
i’ve also heard plenty of stories over the years by the amount of scams they’ve gotten by customers trying to get free food so i can also see their hesitance with returns, or complaints. mainly when they have their family working the sub station and they can trust that they know how to make the same subs that they’ve been making for 40 years.
also prices just went up! which sucks but i got some insight that it took a lot of thought before the owner raised them. it’s crazy just how expensive the world is and how much it must be for a restaurant.
but this place is honestly so great most of the time. but they are a one restaurant location and they are working hard to keep it up and find hard working people to represent that Athens Pizza love!
