My 2 stars have nothing to do with the food as the food is really good. It is very frustrating trying to place an order. They don't answer the phone and require you to order online on website. So you try to order food online and the order won't go through. We tried three times to order online and wouldn't go through. Gave up and went somewhere else.

I went in yesterday for the first time in many years because I remembered how good the “rockets” were when I was a kid and happened to be driving by- everything was so great I drove 20 minutes out of my way past 10 other sub shops to get here again! Places like this don’t really exist anymore. The people here are so friendly and really take the time to get things right- I mentioned I might be eating half now and half later and they offered to wrap the half’s up separately for me. Nobody goes out of the way for you like that anymore. There’s a very old school charm and feel here even though they’ve clearly updated their restaurant and it’s very refreshing to find a place like that. The food is phenomenal. I’m incredibly critical of Italian subs and I make a better sandwich at home than most other shops but I certainly do not make a better sandwhich than the “rocket” they made me the last two nights. The veggies are super fresh, the fantini bakery sub rolls were super fresh and the meats were fresh sliced and perfectly portioned. I will definitely make this my go to place for what I consider to be a real Italian sub. If you’re looking for the best sandwhiches in the Merrimack valley made by some awesome people look no further!

I LOVE this place!!!! I moved away 30 years ago and when I moved back ?? It was amazing to find out they are still open and going STRONG!!! I just picked up 2 ROCKETS today for my lunch during the week. LOVE the ROCKETS. Thanks Again!!! I will see you next week.???

Place is excellent. Stopped in and got a buffalo chicken sandwhich. Great bread, great portion of chicken and sauce. Only knock is they don’t bread the chicken themselves. I’ll be going back very soon

I've been eating Rockets since 1985. Marc Anthony fan. I live in West Roxbury and still make it up here a few times a year. I'd come in more often if they were open on Sunday (hint, HINT!). Always great to see Mary. I work at the West Roxbury VA and any time a patient says they're from Haverhill I'm like"Where's my Rocket?" :)

The large Rocket subs are so big, that they were probably on the hunt for Red October. Incredibly huge, incredibly delicious!

You will get your money!s worth! The Small size sandwich is a normal/large size actually. The Large is almost 2 ft wide! Order carefully unless you want leftovers. Food is good, service is great. I was a little disappointed ad my meatloaf sandwich had cut up meatballs inside. Not sure if that was an error or the way they do things. Oh well. I’d still back again.
