The food, atmosphere and service are all excellent! Went here for our anniversary dinner, got the window seat, and swear I just fell in love with my husband all over again. The atmosphere was more business casual and relaxed. The waitress made amazing recommendations as I didn't know what I wanted for sure. Everything was lovely!

We had purchased a 4 person dinner through Groupon. We didn't know what to expect. We arrived for an early dinner on a Tuesday evening and frankly didn't know what to expect. We were invited to order anything on the menu. For entrees I had the seared tuna, my husband had scallops, my daughter had the fish, and my son in law ordered the pork cutlet. Everyone LOVED their meal. 2 Appetizers consisted of calamari, and empanadas, and dessert for 2 was a delicious cake and ice cream sundae in a cup. Service was friendly, portions served attractively and certainly ample, and by the time we were ready to leave the place was hopping. We will definitely return.

Such a gem of a restaurant! I've been here a few times for drinks at the bar, but recently went for a girls night out for dinner. Everyones meals were delicious and fresh, lots to choose from on the menu with friendly staff. I personally had the scallops with a citrus risotto which was cooked perfectly!drinks and dessert were also made with lots of thought and care.Inside is cozy but lively which makes the atmosphere great for date night or in our case a fun upscale spin for catching up with a group of friends!

I usually dine at Essex Street when I'm visiting family in Haverhill. It's a solid, straight-forward menu with classic choices and usually a few specials. The other night we had a haddock special and the chicken Marsala--both were excellent. We usually have Mike as our server--he's super friendly and efficient. Two thumbs up!!

This place before Covid was excellent. Now it's freezing. The menu is lacking and the food is just as tasteless. I don't recommend and I will never go back.

My family and I absolutely love this place. The food is great. The service is great and I was shocked that they even remembered us even though we don't go there all the time some of the best food in Haverhill.

Outstanding service from some of the friendliest, kindest, and most conscientious staff I have ever experienced. The food was as amazing as the service. The seafood pie was complimented by perfectly prepared green beans and mashed potatoes. My wife has not stopped raving about her lamb chops. Well done ESG!
