Absolutely horrible experience tonight. I went in for an ice cream cone at 9pm for take out. Decided on a banana split instead. You can’t really drive and eat a split, so I sat at a booth. I was the ONLY customer. Alexis the waitress asked me to move to a different booth, I complied. She said the booths over here were her tables and those other booths might not be clean. Odd. I told her I was waiting for a banana split, she said take out orders are not allowed a booth but it was ok bc there were no other customers. Then she argued with the fountain guys about me telling them to mind their own business. Embarrassing. She told the fountain guys he’d have to clean my booth. Odd. An older couple arrived and were seated next to me. Immediately this waitress told the lady that her drink was not allowed in here. She had a fountain drink with about one ounce left in the clear cup. The waitress forced her to give it up so she could throw it out. My banana split was great though.

Food was sitting there and I was waiting for my waitress to bring it to me to the point I got up to get it myself but they stopped me and got it for me then it was cold and i told the waitress and she microwaved it because the plate was warm. If I can put zero stars I would but I can’t. My first and last time there.

My daughter got Mac & franks. I got munchie mania (classic!) Love as always. We will be back.
I haven’t been here in about 3 years because the last time I came in, there was much to be desired. That being said, I came in for lunch today with my son and had Kayla as our server. She was wonderful and very attentive. She didn’t linger at our table and checked on us in appropriate times.
The food could have been better. Basic French fries that were barely warm and my wrap was drenched in honey mustard. My son was happy with his meal of mac and cheese with fries. Honestly, our mini mozzarella sticks were probably the best of our warm food.
Ice cream is always on par here and that makes since since Friendly’s is known for their ice cream and it never disappoints.
Will I return again? Maybe if I have Kayla. The manager definitely should have scheduled more staff since Haverhill didn’t have school today, but that was even a problem when I worked here 15 years ago.

Sad to see how such a great restaurant has fallen. The staff waiting around as we’re waiting to be seated, food that feels microwaved and melted dessert. The good memories will be replaced by bad ones don’t come.

Very good place but this morning I was charge again for my order that I did yesterday and according to my bank they charge my card twice and when I called the store there employee said that they did do that and they where getting calls all day about the same problem when I talked to the general manager she said that it was my banks fault my card was charged twice I wouldn’t spend your money here when there are same places that won’t charge your card twice
