It’s decent. Uninspired drinks and meatloaf. Really nice flavor on bland looking skinless mashed and collards. Forgettable meatloaf and mop sauce lacking originality. Tapatio? No. Also no pork!

Went for bushbuck today. It’s an unassuming small entrance right on Washington street haverhill but goes back so ample sized. Cozy bar up front and high and low tables out back. Mostly all painted black w some nice patio type lights hanging from ceiling. Lively music made it fun.Greeted by nice hostess and seated right away. Our waiter Samuel was very friendly professional and perfectly attentive. Got a couple bloody Mary’s and was appreciative that Samuel asked if we wanted spicy or not (we both don’t like extra spicy). I got the chicken waffles and loved it. Waffle was w cornmeal so lots of texture and kind of crumbly. Chicken was a large pounded piece of breast w some cornmeal on the batter as well.It came with REAL maple syrup, warmed in a little glass jar as well as a little crock of special butter. Ate every hot. Hubby got eggs w brisket hash and loved it. On the way out the owner was near the bar and thanked us for coming which was very nice. Highly recommend. We will be back.Parking: Sundays free street parking. Weekdays pay machines.

Big time fan of the 3 way beef sandwich. Ive tried them all across the north shore. Could be the best Ive had. Wife had the chicken and waffles also really good. Great little restaurant with good drinks and a good menu

The brunch food here was really good. I had the chicken and waffles, which was really tasty. The steak dish could have been a little better. The cook was not done like we asked and it could have used some seasoning. The vibe overall was good, seems like a nice place to have brunch and hangout to watch sports on a weekend. The service was quick and the staff friendly. Would definitely go back when I'm in the area to try other things.

Was going for a fund raiser for my grandsons hockey team but my daughter had wrong day, but decided to stay and have dinner. We got there around 630 not very busy but by the time we left 8 p, it was jumping. I had chicken fried chicken one of my favorite dishes on a menu if they have it. It was delicious. Chicken cooked to perfection, juicy inside crispy outside. The gravy was very good, mash potatoes creamy and I opted for grits instead of the asparagus, only because you can’t get grits were I come from and they were amazing. Creamy and delicious. My daughter had the chicken sandwich which she enjoyed. That came with fries which were very good, and she ordered a side of Mac which was delicious, I had a few bites. The drinks were very good. Made perfect. I hadn’t been to G’s in a long while but will definitely will return.Kid-friendliness: Had a kids menu, probably 5 options for 8.00 plus handed out crayons and color sheet.
ok been wanting to try g's for a while/ shame on me for not going sooner / because if i could i would go back rn and eat again lol / sometimes i review service or atmosphere or contribution but this is absolutely a food review / the chef / owners / staff / especially my waitress/ god dam just keep doing what your doing/ dont tweek dont touch it's perfect / i hunt fish tacos like its my job / and i just bagged my trophy and oh yah its going on the wall / hours later i think the last layer of flavor is still lingeringbite after bite layer after layer it kept building till the whole taste emerged/ very few times in my life has any food done this as perfect as your fish tacos/ i never thought i would say this but if stranded on a desert island and could only bring one food / it would b g's fish tacosfuckjkkjkkkk amazingpeace luvvvvjames xoxo
