Hummingbird Nutritious Eats

Stopped in on 9/1025. Owner explained they are transitioning to more grab & go items as opposed to a hot menu, although they would heat up any grab and go away.I got their special KFC sandwich, which was a cauliflower burger (note, it was a patty made from cauliflower, not a cauliflower steak), with a Korean sauce and coleslaw. It was phenomenal. I also got several grab & go entrées and desserts, which I sampled later that night - they were tremendous.

Recently, Hummingbird has shifted focus to take out and events almost exclusively. The only item made fresh is the KFC (Korean Fried Cauliflower). It's a fantastic sandwich, but I miss when there were other options to dine in.

I needed lunch on my way out of town and discovered this lovely spot close to the commuter rail station. I pre-ordered for takeout, so I didn't experience dining in, but the location was pleasing and the staff was very kind. I ordered Pad Thai which was excellent; the flavors were delicious and needed nothing added. I was so hungry I started eating immediately, hence the poor photo.

Had to come to Haverhill for fingerprinting and I asked the lady there for recommendations for lunch. Was sent this way and am I glad! Both the KFC and Eggplant sandwiches were the most filling and delicious sandwiches I've had in a while. Plus I didn't feel bloated or yucky afterwards. A vegetarian paradise.

This place is it if you like this type of food! I'm sad that I didn't get in earlier; I didn't know much about them and went in out of curiosity. I grabbed a few items out of the case because I could not help myself....I could not wait to sample a few things before I put them away, and everything was amazing. I will 100% be back! My items were the Superfood Pad Thai, Kale & Farro Salad, Choc Rice Pudding, Moroccan Mint Tea, Superfood Seltzer....these guys can cook and very unique menu!

I just wanted something light for breakfast. After scouring the menu for exactly what I wanted, I landed on a tomato jam toast. Sourdough bread with some sort of cream sauce, arugula (that may have been a little too charred), cooked grape/cherry tomatoes with a tomato jam on top. Everything really worked together on this toast and I loved the natural sweetness of the tomatoes and the jam..it tasted a bit like I was having my mom's spaghetti sauce.

They have filtered water on tap.

It's roomy, bright, and clean. There's tables, or if you'd like you can grab a seat at the counter that faces out toward the street. Aside from the occasional eye contact you might make with a passerbyer, it makes for great spectating.

The dude working the counter was incredibly friendly.

I also walked away with a really excellent rice I pudding that had a lemon whipped topping on it. It was so good I should've bought two.

This vegan joint isn't just for vegans. This is an everybody wins establishment.

they have truly mastered their craft. I'm pretty sure I've had everything on their menu and it's all 10 out of 10. also the grab and go case is incredible. I highly suggest them and also follow their page to see what they are cooking up! keep up the good work!

Recently had catering from here at my job for a meeting. ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS.. we had breakfast and lunch. I will definitely be visiting this restaurant ! Such healthy options with wonderful taste..

everything about this place is so good. the menu never disappoints. the atmosphere is very chill and there are lush plants everywhere adding to the relaxed vibe. the staff is kind and courteous. can't say enough good things, most of all though, the food is next level (and nutritious)!
