I am lowering my score from all fives. It seems the quality has been reduced. Chicken tendens left in the chicken (nothing like seeing patrons regurgitating unchewable knots) when informing the staff, the reply- yeah that happens, same thing when informed the staff the pasta was cooked to conglomate mush stuck together. Gnocchi in a pool of butter so thick it will give instant issues. I dont think they even offer homemade pasta anymore. Broken pan sauces that are watery and lack flavor, or sauces claiming bourbon, but have no actual remnants of the flavor b they are claiming. This is my favorite restaurant however recently, after the move, it just seems the staff and the cooks have lost excitement over high quality outputs- it this is how you plan to operate lower the prices- these arent at a 50/plate level.

I love this restaurant. I have never had a bad experience or a bad meal. Food is delicious, service is great, and the prices are reasonable.

First visit on a Sunday afternoon, (even had Pat's game on) didn't disappoint. Server Bob was very attentive & helpful. Hostess was happy & friendly. Hubby, who always has chicken parm at most Italian restaurants tried Pollo Ripieno con Mozzarella- which was a little out of his comfort zone, but said it was REALLY good. I went with Saltimbocca con Ravioli di Funghi with chicken and it was outstanding. Most places fail me with a meh marsala sauce, but this did not. Bread was good too. Great to have on site parking. We will return and gladly recommend it to others.

Food was delicious with large portion sizes. Recommend going if you have a big appetite. Quite a few options to choose from. Loved everything we tried. We'll definitely be back.

Excellent venue that was recommended by a close friend. Service was fantastic, food was reasonably priced compared to its quality, and the atmosphere was wonderful!

Very accommodating... it was very busy but the staff really hustled. Family friendly atmosphere and great music on the bar side. Food was delicious and the sauce was fantastic! Fair pricing. Highly recommend. Never been disappointed. Love it. Parking difficult but if your willing to walk a little it is ok.

Great service, hospitality and food at Joseph's! Bar and food menu provided several options to enjoy.

Our meal was well prepared and very well presented. Our server, Bob, was attentive, meticulous, and knowledgeable. Joseph's Trattoria never disappoints. It offers a tasty, savory, and fresh meal, indicative of culinary passion and patience.

We visited on a Tuesday night for a birthday celebration. We had reservations and were promptly seated, it was fairly quiet given it was a weekday. Service was friendly and fun. Checked in just the right amount of times and was not overbearing - didn't feel rushed. Squash ravioli in a brown sugar sage sauce was plentiful and delicious. Sauce could have been a little less oily but overall good. Lemon chicken, broccoli with fresh made fettuccine and plentiful lobster ravioli were also a hit. Don't forget drinks (Toscana martini) and dessert (sharable tiramisu). I sometimes forget about Joseph's since they had to move to downtown Haverhill but will definitely put this in my radar for near future visits and celebrations.

Honestly some of the best Italian food I've had in a long time! Service was incredible and I can't wait to go back.

We definitely had a great meal and the service from PJ and Bob was outstanding. Our experience with Joseph's has always been great. The food is always sensational as well as the service.
