Excellent service, lovely atmosphere, with mediocre food. I’m not a picky eater, but I didn’t like the arancini- I’ve had it in the north end and does not compare. Also was not a fan of my personal pizza, the flavorings of the toppings together didn’t mesh well
The restaurant shoves too many tables in a small area and does not have the wait staff, so there is a loud atmosphere and slow service. Food is decent but pricey , portions should be larger for price.
Went there tonight 6/23/2025 for the first time. I had the Bolognese and my mother had the Lobster Ravioli with a side of Sweet potatoes. We were given fresh bread with the meal. Everything was excellent and delicious. Wait staff was on top of everything and very friendly.
First time to the new location in downtown Haverhill. Joseph's did not disappoint-the service -food and ambience was excellent. made it a nice celebration for Fathers Day! We will be back! Shout out to Madison our server!
Great experience. Two of us shared 3 things and it was plenty of food. Delicious complementary bread, oil, and dip. Excellent arancini. Phenomenal Insalata dell'Orto. Light and tasty cheese ravioli. Wonderful service. All the food is very homemade/fresh ingredient/ authentic tasting! Only downside is the that restaurant is a little loud. We'll be back here again soon.
Went to Joseph's on a Slow Monday for an early dinner ...4-5 people at the bar, one group of 2 in restaurant area, and us. Male greater very friendly, Waitress Poeme very friendly and attentive. Ambiance and cleanliness very good. Salad was excellent, bread was excellent. Not busy at the bar but still seemed to take a while to get 2 drinks. All was GREAT until one of the meals arrived. One meal was the cheese ravioli which was very very good. The other meal was Garganello Con Salsa Di Constantini Brasati (Housemade garganello pasta, pulled, braised chianti short ribs,)...Pasta was good, sauce was good, Braised short ribs HORRIBLE...Tough, NOT tender at all, ultimately couldn't eat the short ribs. (I have short ribs frequently so I know how good they should be)...so a mixed bag...so would we go back, maybe but would certainly have something else.
The food and service are always great.
I highly recommend trying
Cool place. New location from the Original in Bradford. I prefer the original Joseph's atmosphere. But it is a good place in Haverhill.
We were regulars at the old location for years but only recently visited the Krueger location for the first time. The food and service were excellent as expected. I had the tuna special with quinoa and eggplant and my husband had pasta arrabbiata with salmon, swordfish and muscles. My chief complaint is the space is a warehouse and is incredibly loud. We sat at a tiny table near the bar which I hate. Just for fun I downloaded a decibel app to see if I was overreacting and it was pegging at 86 decibels before 7pm on a Saturday. Just insane. At 90 decibels my Apple Watch sends warnings. Otherwise they brought a cannoli with a candle for my husbands birthday which was very sweet. Hoping the future space has special design for acoustics so we can enjoy a peaceful meal.
The food and service was fantastic. I believe our waitress was Madison and it was a joy to have her as our server. Very friendly and attentive throughout the course of the evening. I ordered a special meal by changing up one of the dishes on the menu a little. Madison took the order with no concerns and the kitchen did an awesome job putting it together as I asked. Great place all in all for a nice meal with great staff and a good atmosphere.

Food was wonderful! Service was great! Very enjoyable evening with friends We will be back !
I would have given the food 5 stars but the muscles were a little funky. Everything else was amazing. I went to celebrate my Mother's Day , love that I was greeted with a rose. My server was Lisa she was amazing , I would definitely go back and request her again. Thank you for everything
We went for the Mother's Day buffet. We were seated at a tiny table squeezed between a wall and against a giant pole (as wide as the table - our elbows we're literally touching it) and in front of the kitchen, even though there are plenty of other tables available. Our waitress was horrible. Nice girl, but this was a buffet - All she had to do was clear our plates, which she didn't do. The wait staff stood in the corner, chatting and ignoring their tables. Our service was so bad. We literally had to bring our dishes to a nearby tray to get them off our tiny table. Pathetic buffet. The breakfast food on the buffet was cold. The one decent offering on the lunch buffet was some kind of breaded, lemony chicken, which was cold and very dry. The prime rib was very good, but they did not offer au jus with it - strange. The desserts were very nice. For $65 a head, I was extremely disappointed. I wanted to spoil my mother on Mother's Day. I felt ripped off by the $150 bill (before tip - no alcoholic beverage purchased) at a restaurant that supposedly has a great reputation. I will not be returning.
From the minute we walk into Joseph's it feels like home. Our server Maddie, manager Chris, and owner Deanna always greet us warmly and provide top notch service and food. I would highly recommend this restaurant to all 🩷❤️
Good restaurant, our server Jori was lovely and patient with my elderly mother in law. Food was solid, cocktails were a fairly light pour though.
