Finally tried this place after seeing lots of recommendations online. The guy at the counter was incredibly friendly and hospitable and food came out fast and hot. For a pizza/sub shop, the food is excellent! The pizza is among the tastiest I’ve found anywhere, and this was just from ordering slices. They have some great, creative subs, and everything is reasonably priced. The chicken parm sub had the best cutlets I’ve had outside of a sit down restaurant. I would have preferred the cheese to be melted with the sub, and marinara sauce wouldn’t be my first choice, but it was very good overall. The parking situation is terrible however. For now, there’s an abandoned CVS across the street, but otherwise I don’t think there’s anywhere to park around the building.
We’ll definitely come back when we’re in the area!

I’m sure the pizza would have been good but I was only able to take a couple bites because it was so spicy hot my mouth felt like it was on fire. I admittedly am sensitive when it comes to very spicy food, so it may not bother the average person, but I was very uncomfortable because it lingered in my mouth for a while. I just wish I would have known ahead of time (and really, they SHOULD inform customers of the spiciness of the sauce) so I could have ordered something else and not wasted almost $30 with DoorDash fees and then only be able to have a couple of bites.

This is the worst place in Haverhill it took them an hour and 45 minutes to get my food then when I do get it the chicken in my sub is completely RAW, not some of it the whole piece. I will never order or eat here again I hope you don’t either.

Nelly's is by far the best pizza/sub shop in Haverhill. We have tried many items on the menu and have never been disappointed. Food is delicious, portions are huge, and the staff is very kind. 10/10

Nelly’s pizzas (and sandwiches) are always delicious, but we just had an exceptional delivery and customer service experience with an order for a birthday party. Nelly’s got the pizzas to us on time, completely accurate (for 8 well done pizzas with special requests), and even texted after to make sure we enjoyed them.
10/10!!!

I have never been inside Nelly’s but get take out on DoorDash. Food is always excellent. Pizzas are traditional Italian pizzas and I got the best chicken cutlet sub that was the best around the area. They seem to really care about the quality of the food they put out and it shows. Excellent place!
