Great food, best prime rib around!

Everything tasted pretty good.

Excellent food service was outstanding. Had prime rib it melted in your mouth.

We were seated immediately in a cozy booth for two. Our waitress was very efficient and attentive. The food was excellent and lamb chops were cooked exactly as requested. You cannot go wrong with appetizers (our selectin was Phoenician shrimp and stuffed mushrooms) Our evening was a perfectly enjoyable one. If you enjoyed the old "Bishops" restaurant in Lawrence, you'll love the Phoenician

I decided to treat myself and I ordered a $45 surf and turf which consisted of two very small and overcooked stuffed shrimp, and a totally uncooked piece of prime rib that was sliced thin and loaded with fat throughout. I wasn't going to send it back since we were with another couple but I will never order that again. Definitely a downgrade from the last time that we were here.

We've been coming to The Phoenician for years and have always enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Unfortunately, our recent visit this past Saturday was disappointing. The prime rib seemed like it had been prepared the day before, and all of our meals arrived either cold or lukewarm. Even the bread tasted stale. While we don't usually complain, this experience felt below the standard we've come to expect. We hope it was just an off night, as we truly enjoy this restaurant and want to continue supporting it.

My husband and I had dinner here before a show that was being held next door. The restaurant was nice and the server was attentive but the food was just so-so. I had the baked stuffed shrimp and hubby had the swordfish. The stuffing on top of the shrimp looked like little scoops of dark brown ice cream (walnut stuffing) and the shrimp were overcooked and rubbery. The swordfish was good but towards the end of the piece it was raw. The manager did take “some money” of the bill but the server said “think of it like sushi” which I felt was inappropriate. It was not a bad experience but for the price I don't think it was a good value and we probably won't eat there again.

The food always reminds me of the old bishops

We go there a lot for special occasions .... The food was great .... I got the smaller prime rib which would have been a large in most places .... It was cooked to perfection... my wife like the shrimp and my daughter likes the stuffed clams ...everything was perfect .... The food came out In a timely fashion and the service was great ... I know restaurants can be very expensive in the world we are in now .... But I felt the prices were reasonable and the portions were too ..

Waitress said she would "Do my best" to try and write 2 separate checks for a table of 4 and we were made to feel as if we were inconveniencing her. Its not as if we were a large table, or had complicated orders. 4 Soda's 1 app, 4 entrees and 2 coffees. Stuffed mushroom was left unfinished by us. The stuffing was rather mushy and tasteless. It was obvious that it wasn't even put under the salamander to brown the top. I had the haddock, which looked like schrod, honestly. It was overcooked and partially dry. Not worthy of the menu price. Everyone else's dishes (lamb and beef skewers were delicious. Salads showed plenty of brown lettuce. Fries were spot on, as always.

Our first time here. Main dishes were very good and warm. Side dishes were small and came out cold. Resteraunt itself could use a face-lift inside. It's a bit outdated and showing some need of repair. It's an open concept so if you're seated near a large group it can be quite noisey. It's a bit on the pricey side for overall meal and alcoholic beverages. Overall though we give it 3.5.

We were greeted and seated immediately , and our server, Trína, was welcoming and efficient. The food was excellent; wide range of offerings exist; portions are generous, and prices are reasonable. The Phoenician, also, has a sign-up loyalty program.

Opentable Diner

Went for dinner before a show at the venue. Allowed for plenty of time to dine before show began, but the restaurant was packed and kitchen was backed up (waitstaff should've made us aware as we would've ordered main meal at time of putting in drink order). Service was poor. Even drinks, while waiting for food, took a long time. When food finally arrived, no steak knife for steak; waitstaff said they'd get it, but took a long time while steak got cold, mashed potatoes cold, and no fries (came much later) and with a bottle of ketchup that was one scant squirt from empty. Both fries and mashed were chosen sides and ridiculous that one was cold and one not served as same time as main. Entree salad was mostly iceberg in large chunks, very few olives and feta, and watery tasteless dressing- very disappointing for the price. Staff not attentive to standard things like filling water glasses. Poorly managed and would definitely not return.

We had a reservation so seated upon arrival. Molly our server was tremendous. Drinks and appetizers tremendous. My prime rib was cold . Wife's tenderloin was good. Won't get prime rib next time. Such a non taste steak for the money. Good overall. Will be back

Food was excellent and service very good. Our server was on point. It was very busy and she was running but took care of all her tables with ease.
