Solid Slice Pizzeria and Pub

We come to this place often because the pizza is always very good. Today I decided not to order pizza for myself and instead ordered shrimp scampi for takeout along with two pizzas. Unfortunately, the shrimp scampi was disappointing. The dish was very bland and had only four shrimp. The shrimp seemed to be cooked only in butter and lacked flavor. I wish they had been grilled or prepared with more garlic and seasoning. The dish mostly tasted like lemon and butter with no depth of flavor.

It also came with the wrong pasta — it was supposed to be angel hair, which usually tastes much better with shrimp scampi. I wish the dish had been richer with more butter, lemon, garlic, and maybe a little cheese. I know this restaurant can do better because the pizza here is always good!

It took a while to try their pizza but when I did I was incredibly surprised. It is delicious. The taste is absolutely great and it's cooked perfectly. Very friendly staff and always a plus having a beer while waiting for your food. My new favorite pizza, much tastier than other area pizza shops. I worked in a pizza place for 14 years so I like to think I know pizza, and this is great pizza. Definitely worth a try if you haven't

honestly the atmosphere and store is so nice the staff was nice and polite , fast with the order . but the food was sooo disappointing the s’mores came is a joke … i thought it would be a cake with graham crackers topping and chocolate drizzle turns out it’s a dry piece of cake with some white topping doesn’t taste like smores at all nor look like it i’m so sad i was excited the pizza was pretty good i got honey hot roni with ricotta. the crust not that good everything else was good on the pizza. would i go again …? no.

Dined there last night with my daughter and 3.5 year old grandson.
Firstly, great service by Morgan. The cheese pizza was thin crust, cooked well and very good in sauce and cheese blend.
Secondly their customer service was excellent. My grandson knocked the half tray of pizza on the floor accidentally. The manager and waitress rushed over and told us they'd make us a whole new pie. They both felt so bad.
We declined that very nice offer and thought that was that.
But when the bill came they had taken the large cheese pizza off the bill.
It was not necessary at all but they went above and beyond and it was appreciated.
We will definitely return and highly recommend.

Second experience here and it didn’t improve from my first. Freezer section onion rings, bland pizza. Waitress messed up 2 diff parts of my order. Not going for a trifecta

The pizza was really good today, we got a large Fenway (sausage, onions & peppers), but OMG the service was atrocious at the bar. I don't know if this girl was the regular bartender, but she did not do a single thing unless I asked her to do it. She gave us a drink, and left us sitting there. We said can we get some menus? She left us with the menus for what felt like eternity, walking by us tons of times while they were pulled in front of us (the universal sign for being ready to order) until we finally said can we place an order? Then when my drink was empty, do you think she noticed? No I had to finally flag her down and say could I get another drink over here please? Then when it was time to leave, I put my card down with the tab and she kept on walking here and there, fidgeting with this or that, washing glasses doing everything except coming over to us. They were like eight people at the bar, it was not busy enough to warrant this bad of service. I also wish there was an ATM in the actual bar so we didn't have to leave and go to the convenience store to get cash to come back and play Keno. A keno machine would be nice actually, because having to go up to the counter and wait for the girl to come back over there is not very convenient. Luckily the pizza was good but takeout for us in the future. Large pizza and 6 drinks (4 Tito's & 2 JD) $94 before tip. The pizza was $24.

Finally! Beer battered fish and chips. Every other place around here breads their fish and it is not the same

Absolutely disgusting

I normally have good experiences here, but today I got just the mozzarella sticks and when they came out they were slightly above room temp and tasted freezer burnt. My kid and I finished and our Waitress, who I think was the manager comped us because I only ate two and asked me for feedback.

Regardless of the condition of the sticks, they did win a customer today. You don’t get that kind of service just anywhere.
