Hands-down, this is the best Indian food I’ve ever eaten at a restaurant. I also had a chance to try a Himalayan dish. I prefer vegetarian dishes and was excited that they had so many options, in addition to many options for chicken and lamb dishes. Everything was freshly made and brought to the table hot. I hope they stay in business because I would like to go back and try everything on the menu. The decor is nothing special, but you hardly notice while drinking a hot, savory cup of masala and pepper tea. Perfect for the throat in winter.

Excellent food! We ordered the saag paneer and the chicken korma, both of which were to die for. Rice pudding for dessert was yummy as well. We will be back.
So delicious! We got veggie samosas, garlic naan, chicken biryani rice, chicken tikka masala, Himalayan chicken chili! Everything was so flavorful! We got this sauce with our order, but I'm not sure what it was or what it was for, but it was so good I dipped the samosas and naan in it! Can't wait to go back!

We were traveling, just stopped for gas and quick taco bell. Saw this restaurant across the street. Decided to try it. We loved every dish we ordered. It’s family owned restaurant so service was little slow. Taste of home cooked food. Must try.
Pro tip: order it spicy for Indian taste.

Not good at all! We have been regular customers there since when we first moved to the area and we loved their quality of food. But after a long break we ordered take out and we were not happy about it. Their taste and quality of food has dropped over the years. We used to always love their biriyani and this time it was nothing like how it used to be or it should be. It was bland and tasted like it was an after thought and was just plain rice mixed with big chunks of chicken from some random curry. Its sad that the taste of their food is nothing close to what it was before.

I’d rather drive the extra 15 minutes to eat food from Kashmir in Salem. My father walked in to pick up a small order and the man sweeping completely ignored him for a few minutes. My dad had to ring the bell at the desk and even call for the man before being helped with.Food was not good compared to other places where I’ve had the same dish many times. Lacking seasonings and chicken had a funky taste to it making my dinner hard to enjoy. The rice portion was so extremely small I was shocked the meal costed me $20! More than other places. I don’t think the rice was fresh either. Not clean inside. I’ve done deliveries where customers told me they really enjoyed it, but I was initially hesitant when I’d go inside to pick up food and the worker was sitting in the seating area picking his feet and then went to the back and directly touched the food they were cooking.I wish at that point I decided to avoid this place for that reason alone, but my curiosity from all the good reviews got me.Even worse is the part when I had to pick out the mosquito from my meal. I honestly am disgusted beyond belief and unfortunately throwing the food away.Someone else posted a review saying they bit into a cockroach. If I read that review before, I would’ve completely stayed away from this establishment. Please avoid coming here for these reasons. I surely won’t be returning. I’ll stick to Kashmir.
The food is so good!!

Didn’t stay to get takeout . I was kept waiting at service counter 10 minutes where I observed consistent use of microwave and freezers stockpiled with frozen precooked chicken stored no less in white MB bags. Sorry there are better fresh food options available . And , the daughter who is working there couldn’t have a more unpleasant attitude and puss face :(

My wife and I are rarely impressed dining out over the last few years, this place was a pleasant surprise. It doesn't look like much from the outside and the inside is no frills.I ordered the chicken Tikka Masala lunch special, appetizer, tea, main course and I think Naan plus dessert for $20. Couldn't finish and brought it home. Service was excellent and the bathrooms were clean. Definitely making this a regular stop when we’re in the area.
