After a bit of a hiatus, we decided to revisit the tap for a casual dining experience. The service was excellent and the food was tasty. My salad featured a generous portion of fried cheese curds and BBQ chicken. My husband ordered a fried chicken sandwich which he found to be a bit too spicy for his taste. Later that night we had leftovers due to the hefty portion of salad.
We sat outside on the back porch and had a lovely view of the river. The ambiance with all of the planters boxes and beautiful flowers really added to the charm. Great, attentive service from Alex with the best recommendations! She talked up Chris’s smashburger and let me tell you, it lived up to the hype. I didn’t take a picture of it because it was gone too fast! Brussels sprouts and fries were killer too. Beer was great- loved the Low Men and Solar Plexus, but so many more...
This place is a bit frustrating, it’s just to good!! There are just too many options to experience all in one sitting, especially as we are just passing through. All of the beers we sampled with the flight were fantastic, and the entire menu was a challenge to navigate as it is all amazing. We settled on the Brussels and the smash burger, both of which were 10 out of 10. The back porch and a breeze summer/fall day can’t be beat. Whether you’re me just passing through...
