I stopped by the gas station with my husband to buy a bottle of water and we saw a cafe inside selling Latin food, so we decided to have a little snack there. We were skeptical because of the location but we were surprised the food was delicious! We ordered a horchata(drink), an empanada and a pork pupusa. My husband really liked the empanada and I liked the pupusa but we both agreed that the horchata was too good. The prices are great, the store in general is clean and they are friendly. They also sell tacos, burritos, and shakes. I highly recommend this place.

Great authentic tacos and pupusas. The South shore needs more taco spots. Get the birria taco.

I stopped by here after my friend had a good experience getting a coffee. He told me they had all kinds of Breakfast food and Mexican. And to my surprise it’s one guy working his arse off. Service is great for a 1 man job, he was friendly and made some suggestions for other items. I ended up getting the Birria Tacos with a Chocolate shake, and my other friends got a Chicken Quesadilla, Rice, and a Horchata drink. Due to the fact that it’s located in a gas station comfortable waiting is limited but there’s a decent sized area where he could place some seating arrangements. Anyways I’ll just get to the food part. The birria tacos were WELL worth the 3.50 each one filled me up. The Chocolate shake is not an “icecreamy” shake it is more of a chocolate coolada. The chicken quesadilla was good the quesadilla was well toasted and thick full of chicken but the peppers through me off course because I’m not used to them in a chicken quesadilla. The rice was great, herbal like taste with a good texture. And last the Horchata drink, I had never tried Horchata but it was great, it’s not really something you could mess up.Overall this place is great, I think the location just seems to change people opinion on how the quality would be.
Kid-friendliness: breakfast variety has loads of options for children to eat.

I just wanted to give a shoutout to Coffee Donuts inside of the Holbrook Market store. The food is extremely affordable and always made fresh! They have quite a variety from authentic spanish food (birria tacos, rice/ beans, pupusas), breakfast varieties, and sandwiches for lunch. I usually spend around 10$ for a filling meal. I highly recommend!
