Great spot for Haitian food. There is a lot of places in the area that sell fritai or Haitian patties but not too many that sell all this plus rice plates, macaroni etc. You that real Haitian food your folks make. Food is amazing especially the rice and staff always has a smile. Food can take a but to come out but that's only because lots of Haitian food isn't "fast food" so I understand. If you want something quick get their fritai or dine out and order ahead and you probably won't wait long

I got here at 9:30 pm. I waited 5 minutes before I was able to get someone’s attention to sit down. Then my order was taken. It is now 10:58 pm and still, I have not been served. I’m seeing people who came in after me who ordered the same thing as me be served before me. Not sure what the structure is. The food was good. At least whatever they had left (half the menu was not available). I regretted driving 45mins from home to come here. I could’ve received the same type of food with better service much closer. Everyone was friendly thou, I guess. I just wished I didn’t waste over an hour and a half waiting for food.

I visited on October 26 after placing an order over an hour prior, only to find out they didn’t have the food I wanted. When I asked why I wasn’t informed when I placed my order, the server seemed unsure and asked another employee for clarification. This employee, who had blonde braids, approached me and asked what the issue was. I explained that I had ordered over an hour ago and was now being told the food was unavailable.
Her response was dismissive; she repeatedly stated, “I didn’t take the order. You can order something else.” I told her that I only wanted what I had originally ordered, but I would look at the menu again. As I did, she stood with her hands on her hips, staring at me. I asked her to stop with the attitude, and that if I decided to order something else, I would do so with the original person who helped me. Frustrated with her demeanor, I requested to speak with the manager.
After reviewing the menu, I settled for just the macaroni from my original order, since I had already driven all the way there. After waiting over ten minutes, I finally received my macaroni and waited another five minutes to speak with the manager.
I explained the situation to him, mentioning that I had placed my order over an hour ago and was informed it was unavailable. He initially claimed they had it, but then confirmed it had run out. I understood that, but asked why I wasn’t called, especially since they had my phone number. They insisted they had called and I didn’t answer, but I showed them my call log with no missed calls.
The manager then suggested I leave my contact info to come back tomorrow, which I declined.
I wanted to support a local Haitian restaurant in the South Shore area, but the lack of professionalism and accountability was disappointing. While waiting, I noticed other customers who had been waiting over an hour for their food.
Unfortunately, I do not recommend this restaurant. I will be heading to Boston for Haitian food from now on.
Great food and friendly staff ?

Went to this restaurant this past Sunday with my family for dinner. Did not realize they weren’t open for dining in (take out only) since they are doing renovations. My family and I was very disappointed since i went on the website prior to going and that wasn't indicated there. This was my second and last time going there. My husband is a vegetarian, I ordered mac and cheese and it had ground beef in it (the menu did not say it had meat since mac and cheese is supposed to be meatless), I also ordered sweet plantains for him and it was hard (must’ve been yellow not ripe).
Vegetarian options: Sweet plantains were not ripe, more yellow. It was hard
Dietary restrictions: Mac and cheese has meat

I have been following them on IG and the food always looks so good. Finally myself n my boyfriend decided to take the drive from Hyde Park to try the food. Big mistake. For starters we got there and they are only serving take out as they renovate for their bar. Ok not a deal breakers since we drove 35 mins might as well get it to go. Honestly we should have left once we saw it was take out only. This was by far the most bland Haitian food I’ve eaten and I love Haitian food. The rice was bland had no flavor or seasoning. My boyfriend Griot was dry nothing to write home about. The friend goat was juicy but this to was very bland. All in all it’s definitely not worth the drive from Hyde park not even worth the drive from down the street
