I love oxtail and jerk chicken. This place is straight from Jamaica - the food is 100% authentic Jamaican food. Food that you would find in the homes of Jamaica.
They really pride themselves on serving delicious food. It shows and it TASTES so.
I was waiting for the oxtail to finish cooking. The staff said it was gonna be another 30 minutes. I didn’t mind the wait so I sat and waited. Not sure if it was the owner or not - but he poured me a drink on the house. Homemade mango passion fruit (see image)
You can tell it’s homemade because of the texture. It’s a bit thicker and you taste fresh mango.

When we lived in Boston, there was an amazing Jamaican food truck. The other night my wife randomly mentioned it in conversation so we searched for the best Jamaican food in the South Shore. We arrived about 30 minutes before closing and there wasn't much left but we were able to order the oxtail with rice and plantains. We also got an order of the Patty Coco-Bread & Cheese. The owners were so nice, they gave our little girl a surprise lemonade on the house. The food was outstanding and we'll definitely be back.

Bomboclat!! The food here is so good. He stuffed my plate to the brim. I didn’t even have to ask for sides. Came with plantains, cabbage, and rice n peas. I highly recommend their oxtail plate but also can’t go wrong with the jerk chicken.

I just left this spot — my friend paid $30 for a plate of rice & beans, ribs, cabbage, and two dried plantains. I asked him why it was so expensive, and he said, “You don’t go to a Bentley dealership and ask why it’s expensive.” The nerve. I told him, you’re not selling 5-star food.
I eat out at a lot of restaurants, but this is way overpriced for a takeout spot. At this point, it feels like customers are just helping pay the rent with these prices. Definitely won’t be coming back.
Food: Go for their jerk chicken and awesome sauce (however, this year the chicken pieces have gotten smaller and have more bone fragments. OX tail meat was ok, but too expensive for mostly bones. Curry chicken was so so. Rice & beans and steam cabbage vegs are conststently great. Plantins were good but you get 2 tiny pieces.
Service: 2 1/2 stars. Guy at the front is pleasant enough, would gain 4 stars if not for the wife (?). Dealt with her once trying to place a cathering order for a party of 20, in the mids of her nailing down the date when I can place the order she ghosted me. Bad business practice. Zero star.
Atmosphere: primarly s small and peaceful takeout place with a couple of high chairs you can sit to eat on the side.

The Mercedes GLE AMG 53 out back and no other customers in line should’ve been a dead giveaway for me to have not ordered food from here. I was in Holbrook and on my way to Flames to get Jamaican food and saw this place driving by so I decided to give it a try. I ordered a mix plate with 3 pieces of jerk chicken and 4 pieces of oxtail with cabbage and 3 pieces of plantains on what appears to be a medium plate. I also ordered a small side of jerk Mac and cheeks that was heavily caramelized like it’s been sitting there for a day or two. In total I spent $50 dollars for these two items which to me seems absurd for food that was so mediocre. It should at most be $30. I highly wouldn’t recommend anyone to spend their money at this place just go to Flames or Murl’s kitchen where you can get more for your money and way better food. Food was a solid 5/10 for $50 dollars. Do what you want with this information

To expensive and the food not the good
Got an oxtail plate, curry goat plate and jerk mac&cheese for 66.82. Brutally honest review, not going to lie 26$-27$ a plate is kind of crazy. I personally like a little more flavor and spices with my curry goat so id rate it a 7/10, although the meat is very good for both plates. For the oxtail id rate that a 8.5/10, the spices/flavor are really there and the meat is good and tender. For the mac id rate it a 7.5/10 its very spicy but paying for 9$ mac because it has extra seasonings without meat kinda wild. Id say stop here if you want to have good oxtail but my biggest con is the pricing. Guy inside is really awesome though, great customer service and very friendly!

My son and I made a 48 min drive to this place as a first timer, and I must say we were not disappointed, from the food to the service. Please, I highly recommend Jerk Mac & Chesse it's good and different. Truthfully, all the food is and looks good. We'll be back.
