My family has always been big fans of Meolas because of the variety of inventive flavors and sundaes. I am surprised by how much they are charging this season for the smallest ice cream cone. I would prefer a smaller amount at a lower price. It adds up to a lot to take your family out for ice cream. My main disappointment however is that the last couple times we have gone to the Holden location, they have been out of all sorbet. We have two family members who have dairy allergies or intolerance--it's pretty common in our population. Meolas, you lost our business twice already because you don't have any sorbet. I was told it's not going to be restocked this season at this location. Seems that you dont care about your customers who have medical reasons they can't have dairy ice cream. We will have to find a different ice cream stand to frequent for the rest of this season...and maybe next year too.

Love Meola’s but they need to allow for people to put toppings on ice cream. Come on. Ridiculous that you can’t add a topping on simple ice cream.

I asked for a sundae with hot fudge on the side. the girl asked the manager and they said no. I asked to speak with the manager and they wouldn't talk to me, said they are busy. won't be coming back.

I was riding my bicycle at the start of a long tour and decided on a whim to stop for ice cream. Boy, I'm glad I did. Service was great, ice cream was top notch, and on a spring day in MA with the sun shining who could ask for better atmosphere. My only reason for 4 stars (instead of 5) on atmosphere is you are on a busy road. Still highly recommend this place for an ice cream treat!

Website says they’re open til 9. I showed up at 8:10 and the place was closed and no one answering phones. I was quite disappointed. Do they close at 8? If so, the website needs updating

Meola's is a great, local, and small-business ice cream shop! While it's expensive (as if there is such a thing as inexpensive ice cream out) the ice cream is delicious, there is a frankly ridiculous number of inventive flavors, and the staff are AWESOME! Highly recommended!
Vegetarian options: Ice cream!
Dietary restrictions: They serve low-fat and lactose free ice cream, as well as no sugar added!
Kid-friendliness: Plenty of kids out playing and chatting on the neighboring green space!
Such a cute ice cream stop. I haven't had a flavor I didn't like. I'm a bit obsessed with the Juan Valdez though. It's perfect.

Third time going tonight and for the third time, my order/payment is wildly incorrect. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and give them more chances, but they are terrible. Mistakes happen- I get it- but this is above and beyond incompetence. If you get an order incorrect just fix it. If you can’t do the math, don’t just make up a random number. Sad to see this for a local spot. Would have love to talk to someone about this but they never pick up the phone and there is no one to contact.
